Cousin S. & her kittens
TIPPER
I have a story to tell about our Mom's cousin that lives near Chicago, IL. I don't know where that is, but that's not important.
The important thing is that Cousin S. loves kitties, too, and that means she's a good person. She had a very old kitty that went to the Rainbow Bridge last year and that made her really sad. Mom told her to wait a little while and then get a new kitten to love. Cousin S. said, "No, no, I don't ever want to have a broken heart again. It just hurts too much". Poor Cousin S. thought she could never love another kitty.
But after a while she realized her house and her heart felt very empty and she was sad 'cause there was no one to play with. Then one day a great thing happened! She decided to look for a kitten, and guess what? She adopted two babies and named them Patches & Bella. She sent Mom their pictures, and said we can show them to you.
It's always a good day when kitties are adopted from shelters and don't have to live in cages anymore, or maybe if no one adopts them, they might get sent to the Bridge without ever getting a family of thier own.
Now Patches & Bella have a good home with a Mom that loves them and I'm glad my Mom let me tell a happy story.

Patches and Bella are lucky to have found such a warm and loving home. Great story!
No matter what they say, the smart humans always get another cat. They just can't live without us. It's good to hear that those little ones were able to find a home with Cousin S.
And she name one Patches. great name, if I do say so myself.....
Very good story. And she got 2 so they can be best buddies and not be lonely when she isn't home.
yea for Cousin S!!!!
My brother Salem was adopted from a shelter, too. My parents say that I was saved from a breeder.
It's always great to hear a happy story.
we are so furry happy that 2 more kitties found a furrever home.
Woooohoooooooooo!! What a great story, Tipper. Thank you for sharing it with us. Here is a poem that mom likes, you should share it with Cousin S.
Fragile Circle
"We who choose to surround ourselves with lives even more temporary than our own,
live within a fragile circle, easily and often breached.
Unable to accept its awful gaps, we still would live no other way.
We cherish memory as the only certain immortality,
never fully understanding the necessary plan."

And here is a link to a good story too.

My mom supports two rescue groups but found both my sisters at the shelter. She's with you--those shelter babies might not otherwise get a chance to have a family. We love Cousin S!
Cousin S is so brave - it's hard to put your heart into another love after losing one. I know Patches and Bella are so grateful. I'm sure Cousin S is happy she took that leap...

I am glad there is a happy ending. I have two cousin cats who are very very dumb. I must blog about them sometime.

This happened to me I had a cat named Buffy. She got really sick
and after watching her suffer I made the dreadful decision to put her to rest.My heart ached so much
I swore I would never get another cat. Then I saw Ariel,She was alittle ball of fluff. When I picked her up all the pain went out of me and I realized Buffy was in a better Place.Ariel came to live with me and to this day she is the best friend I ever had : )
Not just one, but 2 little ones have a new forever home?! Hooray for Cousin S!!!
Ahh...what sweet kids. They look happy. Good job coz!
