Tartar Control Treats

MAX

Mom got us some tartar control treats to try and help me with my "problem" and I really, really like them! But she says I eat them too fast , and I'm not getting the benefit of the tartar control part. I just love them so much, it's just one crunch, then swallow. Um... Mom, what flavor was that again?

TIPPER

Yes, he eats like your typical boy - hardly any manners. Just about swallowed his treats whole and then came over and tried to take mine! So Mom had to give me a few more, which is OK with me.

GEORGE

I don't go in for treats. I just stick to my dry food and an occasional bowl of tuna water. Dang this delicate stomach thing!

Yes, I do that. I have tartar sometimes so my mum buys me these dental treats, I am supposed to crunch them up but I just go "gulp, swallow" and they go down in one piece!

We love those kinds of treats! Mom has to keep them in the refrigerator because if we get them out of the cupboard, she finds teeth marks in the bag.

My cousin, Gracie, doesn't like cat treats at all. When our Gram buys all of us some at Christmas, Auntie always gives them to Mom because she knows Gracie won't eat them.

More for us...I'm not complaining!

I luv treats but Mittens isnt all that fond of them, she likes plants, dead or alive. Mom plants grass for her and she pulls it up by the roots she gets all way excited.

Max, you need to learn to chew.

I demand treats of my woman once each morning and evening. Some are tartar control, some are hairball control, and some even have nip in them. I know the difference. The woman sits on the floor with me on one side and that Victor on the other (he dances around to my side sometimes, so I growl). We have each taught her a trick to know we want the treats. I sit up like a prairie dog and delicately take the treat from her fingers, then drop it on the floor for proper crunching. Victor does a little spin, then snatches his treat, nearly removing her fingertip! He really should teach her a different trick; spinning takes longer than prairie-dogging. And he's going to choke one of these days, swallowing without chewing. Brat.

We gets great treats two times a day from Mom. We take turns an Bonnie begs and I spin and then Mom gives us each a yummy treat! I don't mean to bite sometimes and I fink Mom knows that.

Wow, at least your people are trying something for your teeth that doesn't involved having a stick shoved into your mouth with gross tasting paste...

Hey George, Me too! Maybe we can do lunch sometime. Mini, she eats like Max. I dunno if she ever even tastes her food, but she sure eats a lot of it. And Max, Max is right -- good thing she's not trying to brush your teeth. Ewwwww! Tipper, I'm glad your Mom gave you more treats.

Kinda defeats the prupose of crunchy treats not to chew them. We get the hairball treats for Shaggy. He will still hock up some e, but those treats seem to make a difference. Can't have too many, cause he's too fat! Scout doesn't like treats. Tries to bury them like poop.
