Stupid, or Not

The minute she set this box down, we thought it might be something for us so we immediately inspected it. But it wasn't for us after all.See, poor Mom has a problem with her neck and is supposed to wear this thing called a cervical traction unit twice a day. It's to help with the pains in her neck (And NO, I don't mean us!!!) and shoulder from the arthritis and degenerative disc problems.
As usual, I had to supervise the assembly, then we hung it over a door so she could try it. She said it makes her look stupid and won't let me post a picture.
We want Mom to feel good, so if it helps her neck, she shouldn't care if it looks stupid.

Poor Mom. That doesn't look like much fun. But if it makes her neck feel better, you need to make sure she uses it. And don't post a picture of her using it - moms don't like pictures like that. I know cause our oldest boy took an unflattering picture of her once and she hid his camera from him.
ouch! My favorite human also has a sore neck sometimes but mostly it is her lower back. If they would stretch, rest and exercise like we do, it would probably help. I hope that thing works.
Uncle Mike uses one of those things. I have to leave the room to snicker . . . well, he DOES look funny in it.

ipOur Gramppie uses one of those. We haven't seen it...but Momma has. She calls it"hanging himself". I think it helps his neck so he doesn't need surgery on it.
Oh, you're poor beanmom! I hope it helps her neck thingie too. Too bad we can't see how it works. It looks cool.
Ouchie necks are not good. Hope the mom neck gets better using this.

Mom has a friend who has used that cause she had bone spur in neck. As matter of fact her friend had to have eper.. eperdural... uhhh... pain medicine for it today from doctor
Oh, your poor mom. I bet that's worse than one of us having to wear one of those lampshades on our necks.
