Help...I'm Starving!

GEORGE

Do you see this!!! Do you see what we have to put up with around here? An empty food bowl...completely empty. Not one whole morsel...just a couple of crumbs...and I'm hungry! The fact that I've packed on 16 lb. is irrelevant. Right now I'm starving!

Now that Misty is here, our food disappears faster, but has Mom thought about that? Nnnooooo! Has it even occurred to her to check our food container more often? Nnnooooo! Am I just supposed to sit here and waste away? Do I have to faint from hunger before she notices me?

Just where is Mom, anyway!!!

You might need to get new staff. At least someone who can keep track of the food dish better.

George, this is absolutely outrageous. No Cat shoudl have to stand for this. Your mom needs to go stand in a corner for misbehaving.

Yes, you do look a bit gaunt and your cheeks are sunk in. Should my momma email your momma about this, do you think?

I so feel your pain, George. My human pet has been cutting back on our food again. She's was giving us two helpings a day because there's two of us, but because she says we have been eating lots of bugs and such, we have to go down to one helping. I'm a raving lunatic come mornings now!

I say headbutt your human pet into submission or until she gets the clue that she needs to buy more food! I know I am doing that to mine, and it seems to be working because she's highly aggravated. As soon as she makes the connection, she'll be golden.

You definitely look a little perturbed there George. We don't blame you. Looks like you're used to having a lot of food in that container.

George that is a terrible sight to see. We had that same problem a while ago. Cos the mumbean was trying to get Eric to lose weight, when we had our supper that was it till the morning, even if our bowls were empty. We told her bout it but she said tuf luck. Can you imagine???She said it was "Tuf Luv" Well wots that sposed to mean? Anyways we started running around at 100 miles an hour, an running over the beans heads at 4 in the morning. We said it was cos we was starving an had gone all hyper. Now if'n our bowls are empty when she goes to bed, she gives us anuvver sashay. We haf to share it, but it's better than nuffin. You wants to try that.

We have to go through that now and then too!! Sometimes Mom ignores us when we meow and stay around her but she doesn't realize we are talking to her so we go to Dad and he looks in our dish and puts a lot in there and it's piled high. Sometimes I don't know how come Mom can't comprehend, but guess that mind of hers is always somewhere else.

Hey, wanted to thank you "the crew" for stopping by our site the other day.

No cat deserves an empty food bowl. You should summon the rest of the gang and protest against this cruel treatment at 5 in the morning.

At least you get a steady supply of crunchies. Over here, Cheese topped the scales at 16 lbs and mommy put us ALL on a diet. Now we get stinky goodness twice a day and that is it. Sometimes Mommy will hide crunchies around the house in places where Cheese cant get to a'cause of his fat booty and I like that. But mommy says we are all nice and plump so she is going to keep up this schedule. Who do I complain to??

Chey says that happens here too (at least with the canned food). She is always saying she is going to faint away but she never does. Momma doesn't believe her any more...

EMPTY? I think you should fire your Human. Aren't they supposed to SERVE and protect? Oh wait that might be the police....You could always drag the bowl across the floor and leave it where they will trip over it. That usually works.

Poor George! That's why we make Mom and Grandma have food bowls in THREE different places in the house. Plus, that way when we get hungry we don't have to go far to find food.

I'm sorry, George, but I'm just not feeling your hunger-induced fatigue.

Perhaps you should consider adding a few...elipses...to your...pleas...to demonstrate...extreme...exhaustion.

It's a tried and true method you should really consider. I've seen it bring tears to the eyes of even the most selfish and cold-hearted humans!
