I Don't Think I'm Naughty
MISTYMom and I are have having an argument. She says I've been naughty and I have to tell some things I did. I think they were fun and if I get a chance, I'll do them again!
1. The first thing was...I zipped out between Dad's feet into the garage while he was going out. Mom says good thing the big door was down. Dad shouted at me and I ran back into the house.
2. Then I knocked her morning pills off the counter and she had to crawl on the floor to find them.
3. Then I took some of her hair rollers and played hockey. 2 of them are lost now.
4. Then I knocked over a flower pot and spread dirt all over the family room. It took Mom 45 minutes to vacuum it all up.
5. Then I bit some electric cords...mainly the ones on her hair curling thing and her phone thing.
6. Then I jumped on and chewed the plant in the dining room again and Mom finally decided to throw it out and get a plastic one. I won, I won!
7. Then I tried to eat some throwup that someone did. Mom shouted "NO, NO, NO" and flapped the paper towel at me.
8. Then I walked on Dad's plate, stole a piece of meat and ran off with it.
9. Then I tore up the newspapers while Mom was doing her crossword.
Um...OK..that was the first day. Should I say what I did the next day, Mom?

Momma laughed and said she was glad that while I was a hyper kitten I didn't get into quite so much trouble. You sound like fun Misty. Maybe we should play.

Wow Misty you have been a busy kitten. All these things sound like fun to us, so we don't think you were naughty at all.
Ah, being a kitten. We have to do this stuff now while they can just sigh and think its just kitten behavior. I know I'll never slow down, how about you?

Geez, you are one energetic little kitty! Ya gotz to be very careful with some of those things tho - cords are sneaky and outside can be kinda ruff, 'specially when your new to it. Have fun but please be careful . . .okay - lecture over! Our mom says that "you are soooooo cute!"
Gosh Misty, it sounded like you had a blast in that one day. What fun huh!! Sounds like Cleo would do things like that, she's the kitten in this family. I do like grabbing Mom's rollers and play with them, but she won't let me have none. She always grabs them from me. She won't let me have any fun.

Our mom says that's why she likes to take in older cats. Too much craziness from kittens.
Misty, you remind me of my sister, Isis. When Isis was a kitten, she did all sorts of things like that! Tell your human pet that you cannot be held responsible for your actions because "that's just what kittens do"!
However, you should grow out of it. Don't be like Isis and continue to be a nutcase well into adulthood!

You did all that in ONE day? Wow you am good. I don't efun fink it was a full moon or anyfing.
You sound like you have a lot of energy, curiosity and need to taste human (and whatever) food!
Here's what I did the first few months I lived with my family-I went to take a whiddled under a table in the living room where ma had a bunch of teddy bears. She grabbed me midstream and took me to the litterbox about 50 times. I also got next to the sofa and whiddled on her vintage record albums-some she had since she was 13. She didn't know until she smelled it a day or so latter. I took a lot of heat for that. I now know to never ever do that again.
Since you didn't hide somewhere in the house and then howl like you were lost, I think you had a pretty tame day. But don't worry, with more experience you'll remember all the things you're supposed to do as a kitten.

Naughty Kitty! I am laughing because Sultanfus was the same way when she was a wee little one.
I would stay away from doing numbers 1, 5 and 7 again....but the others......have at it!!
