Havin' Salad

MISTY

Mom had to make my collar bigger again. Yes, it's the new one she bought to replace the one I lost (well, maybe hid is a better word. And I'm not tellin' where it is, either!).

Anyway, I still have lots of growin' to do before my 1st purrthday in two months, and I want to be sure Speedy knows I'm just growin', not gettin' FAT! Mom says I'm gettin' a bit of a tummy underneath so I think maybe I should start watchin' my weight.

I just don't understand it. I mean, I get plenty of exercise. I run, jump, climb and wrestle several times a day.

Maybe fewer treats and more salad can help get rid of a tummy!

Salad is okay, but we like the dressing better.

I never tried salad before, or anything else that is green. But my tummy is getting hangy, so maybe I should try it too.

Yeah, Misty I bet you are just licking the dressing. Tuna juice, like Kimo and Sabi said, would be the best dressing. I never thought about eating salad either, although it doesn't look all that good to me. Kitty grass maybe........I don't think you should worry about your figure Misty.

Wow. I like salad greens too. However, Cheysuli's idead of adding a bit of tuna sounds great. I love tuna! Tuna is low cal also Misty. Don't worry too much about your figure. Grown-up girls are supposed to have curves...even if the curve involves a little pooch on the tummy part.

If you're mom thinks YOU'RE fat, Misty...she must think I'm a blimp! And we all know I'm not, soooooo...you do the math.

Me thinks your mom may be a bit jealous of your voluptuous bod.

I'm just sayin'. ;)

Lettuce is evil, Missy. Don't listen to anyone who tells you differently. You're fine just the way you are!

Momma says I am getting furry round. I am just a year old. I think it is all fur, though. My motto is "when in doubt, eat."
