A New Food Idea

TIPPER

I'm very interested in food, so I thought it would be a good idea to show this.

We're still eating our dry Iams and, so far, have no problems, but we thought maybe some of you might be interested in trying this. The website is www.wildkittycatfood.com.

There's another brand out there that our naturopathic vet sells as well. Basically it's just a vitamin mixin with the food, like this.

The Woman said the vet didn't like changing Georgia over to this at her age because it would be hard on her kidneys as she hadn't eaten a raw food diet all her life.

That's so great of you to share that Tipper! Mom and Dad have been going back and forth about switching us to a raw diet. They still haven't decided. We like that this also allows for cooked meat though... so we will look into it!

Thanks for tagging Harlie and I with the meme too. We are going to get on it this weekend!

Purrs to my special lady (and the rest of her family of course!)

That is pretty cool stuff! Mommy may actually go for it, since the hard part (vitamins/minerals/etc. to complement the meat) is taken care of.

Dunno if we will like it tho....we still fantasize about eating not-so-good Science Diet....

If Brach sees this, we're toast. He's ALL about the organic chow.

Me? I like my Iams kibble. It's what I know. It's what I eat. It's how I roll...

This sounds very interesting. I just found out that I'm allergic to chicken. I wonder if I could substitute another meat?

Thanks for sharing. I hadn't heard about the kits, but the vet had a thing in her office saying that she doesn't recommend raw food diets but she did recommend that my beans feed me cooked chicken, turkey or beef. I think Mommy will have to look at the cooked kit.

Hey, that's spiffy! I would love homemade chicken food, but I'm not sure Buddah would eat it. There's only one way to find out...

That's very interesting. We like our cat food, and there haven't been any recalls on what we eat, but it's good to know that this alternative is available.

Interesting! Thanks for the link. It looks like some of the foods available here in Europe - you add meat to the base.

My humans try and eat organic but have had trouble finding organic food for me. Especially as (apart from Tuna) I only really like dry pet food like Hills and Iams. FAZ

Interesting. Aside of some wildlife we are eating Innova Evo now for at least two years and feel very good about it! It was never recalled and it has almost no grain. VERY important as most cat food has too much grain and that gives us carnivores all kind of health problems!
