I'm so happy, I'm jumping up & down 'cause Harlie said YES!!! I'm going to call on the most beautiful girl in the world!
Oh gosh, I'm so excited. She invited me over on Friday, so I need to plan what we should do for our first date.
So, all you guys that have girlfriends, what advice do you have for me?! What do you think is the right thing for me to do? Should I bring catnip or maybe a bag of Temptations? Should I wear a tie or bring my red glitter ball? Should I try to hold her paw or touch noses? I want to be sure I act like a gentleman and make a good impression.
Oh gosh, I'm so nervous...help me, guys... HELP ME!!

I would say do some research and find out about her favorite treat and toy. Then bring them and just be really friendly and maybe a nice lick on the head at the end of the night?

Hooray! Hooray! Harlie is a very nice girl, so I think she will like anything you bring. But you can never go wrong with Temptations!

Max! Did yoo ask yoor sisfurs fur some advice? Cuz my sisfurs helped me lots when I first went out wif Misty. Da first words of advice dey gave me were "respekt her brofurs"! Den dey said dat she wood prolly like da same things dat I like and take my cues from her. Dat she wood let me know when she was ready to hold paws or *blush* do noze kisses. Gosh, thinking about it still gifs me grasshoppers in my tummy...

Speedy learned his lessons well. Respect Mattingly and Harlie. Take a few of your favorite toys to share, some treats to share.
But let Harlie take the lead on what to do. Play, visit, nap, whatever.
We agree that tem-tay-shuns would be a great thing to bring. Maybe bring some for Mattingly too. It can't hurt to bring a toy or two.
Holding paws is a nice thing to do. And headbumpies are nice too - if you're not ready for the nose touching. If you play, don't be too rough and let her win at some games.

I think touching noses is ok, but trust me, don't try to get TOO friendly and sniff where we usually sniff each other. I'm pretty sure polite girl kitties don't like that.
Dear Max, I don't have a girlfriend, so I won't offer advice. I just want to wish you two a happy and relaxed Friday with your new girlfriend.
Hurray for you Max. Harley is a very sweet girl. Daisy is right she will like anything you bring but you might bring Tuna water for a special beverage.
