Friends, I don't normally talk about the things that go on behind the scenes here in order to get our blogs posted, but I must tell you about a mistake my secretary (aka Mom) made yesterday. She was so busy trying to get all the new CoMC members listings ready, she published the posting without including pictures for 7 of our friends!!! When she mentioned it to me last night, I was just shocked and very disappointed in the quality of her work.
I've been training Mom for 10 years now and I thought I could trust her to carry out my instructions correctly. Well, apparently I was wrong, which means I'll have to go back to checking every post before it's published. Mom, do you have anything to say in your defense?

Yes George, I'm very sorry about this terrible oversight and it was corrected as soon as I realized my error. All new members now have their pictures showing.
Please give me another chance George. I didn't mean to embarrass you in front of your friends and I can assure you, a mistake like this will never happen again.

Sometimes you gotta keep your mom in line. It sounds like your mom wants another chance.
Our mom has got to be the worst photographer of all time. We are very disappointed in her.
Its hard finding good help these days so you probably should give Mom another chance. If this is the only mistake in 10 years then that's really a good track record. As you say, closer supervision for a short time will probably correct the situation.

I sympathize with you about your Mum. At least your Mum works, even if she makes mistakes - I have a hecka of a time just getting my Mum to do my bidding in a timely manner!

This has got me wonderin how many colours exactly do I have in my coat?! Being an Abyssinian makes this most difficult to work out as each fur has 4 different bands of colour on it and in some places those bands are of different colours too! Gosh all this thinking and counting's got my head in a spin! Think I better have a nap now... ;)
Well, since she is your mom, I think you should forgive her. My Mommie makes mistakes sometimes, too.
They all make mistakes...it's good of you to forgive her. Sometimes we haf mom type fur us (she's a little faster than us) but she spells stuff weerd and we gotsa go back and fitz it...Misty, all the windows are open today and there is lots of perches for us to lay on and watch da birds from, wanna come over?~Speedy
