Something a Mancat Likes

GEORGE

Mom was getting 'squitos with the vacuum thing the other day 'cause our house is overrun with them. There's so many in Whisk-onsin right now, they fly in when someone comes in from outside, or they get in hanging on the clothes. Either way, there's lots of them in here and Mom hates them!! She doesn't like to use bug sprays in the house with us here, so instead of swatting them, she sucks them up with the vacuum and they can't get away!

Anyway, while she had the vacuum out, Dad and I were sitting on the couch laughing at her 'cause she looked silly going after the bugs and before I knew what happened, there she was vacuuming ME!!! At first I thought it was payback for laughing at her, but I noticed she didn't try to vacuum Dad!

OK, I admit I do have a lot of loose fur and I really should ask to be Zoom Groomed, but Mom was very surprised that I laid there and let her vacuum me with the hose end, and that I actually liked it.

I thought at this age nothing could surprise me any more, but I guess I was wrong. So, go ahead and laugh at my eccentricities if you want to, but I'm a Mancat that enjoyed being vacuumed. Do any of you like that?

Wow, George, you must be very brave! I run and hide when I hear the vacuum. It is loud and noisy and I don't like noise. With my Frootbat ears, my hearing is very sensitive. I think I am glad I don't have fur, so no one with try to vacuum me.

I have heard of cats who like to be vacuumed before. I like when my Mommie brushes my furs with her round blow-dryer thingie. It feels like being brushed, only with warm air blowing on my furs.

Oh no, we always have to run when the vaccuum comes out. We do not like to have our fur sucked out.

I have never gotten close enough to be vacuumed before. I don't think it will happen any time soon.

There is somethin to the vaccuumin thing. LC is BlackNwhite an I an ginger.

She attracts skeeters an I dont. So the big Thing has to watch when she comes in... She brings a couple aroun her ears almos efry time!

We cant stand the sucky machine, but The Big Thing is VERY good at swiping the skeeters offa LC as she comes back inside. So we can be pretty relaxed inna cave.

Mommy knew a cat named Stewie. He lived in the Mitten state with friends of hers. He was a BIG tabby. If he heard the vacuum cleaner he came running and got on his back for a belly-vacuum. He loved it! Mommy still laughs when she thinks about it. We run and hide from our vacuum!

Oh yes, you're d'mancat! I've heard tales about one of Mummy's old cats Socrates loving being vacuumed - though cause he was a bit of a lardball (18lbs at his lightest, 22lbs tops) Mummy used to call it liposuction! ;) These humans are easily amused it seems...

Though I don't like the vacuum I do love grooming and even drag my brush over to Mummy if she's not groomed me enough that day! :)

yes, we have been vacuumed too. It is very manly and brave to trust the mombean to do this.

Mosquitos love our mommie. They think she tastes good, so she would vacuum them too if she had to!
Happy Day
to all of you!!

Oh wow. No, we don't let the sucky monster suck our furs except after they've left our body. Yup. Maw has sucked up a few skeeters and flies too on occasion.

Luf, Us

We are very glad that you are all indoor kitties. Much safer and healthier that way.
