Friday Updates

GEORGE

We went to Skeeter & LC's Gotcha Day party yesterday and had a great time. Misty & Boni Maroni had a jumping contest on the waterbed to see who could jump the highest but I think it ended up being a tie. And their claws didn't even put holes in the bed cause it had so many blankets on it.

Don't forget everyone, tomorrow is Brandi's party to celebrate her Mom's new job! She and Mr. Hendrix are also celebrating their 1st anniversary and Hendrix's 5th purrthday!! All that deserves a big party, for sure!

Coats of Many Colors members, we have a new member. Go over and see who it is! Anycat interested in joining, email me for details.

Finally, The Crew is sad today 'cause we have to tell you that our dear friend Pookie who celebrated his 21st purrthday this past May had to be helped to The Bridge yesterday. His family is getting ready to move from the Philadelphia area to Houston and we got this email from his Dad today. Since you all met Pookie, we wanted to share it with you.

I am sorry to report that Pookie did not get the chance to move to Houston. He had what appeared to be a stroke about 2 weeks ago and lost much of his ability to stand, walk, or even eat. He had been losing weight rapidly and was becoming increasingly weak, so we had him put to sleep earlier today. He was 21 years and 7 months old. He will be buried in the back yard under the trees.

Pookie my friend, at The Bridge there is no pain and no sickness. There are mountains of catnip and more toys than you can imagine. But the best things is you'll feel like a kitten again and there are lots of friends waiting to play with you.

Sorry to hear about Pookie. He had a long life. We missed the party because the mom was gone all day, didn't get home til late last night and was tired (that's no excuse as far as we're concerned). Have a great weekend!

Yes, It is ME, Anastasia! Karl was thoughtful enough to put the Dare out on the Day of the Dead, so I can come personally! And if you don't accept the challenge, I might just come again and haunt you, Hahahahahahahahaha!
