New Friends & Friday Updates

It's unbelievable that there are so many new cat bloggers recently. Friends, we've had a population explosion and we're making excellent progress with our plans to take over the world. I believe we have become a force to be reckoned with!!
Unfortunately, as usual, (frowns at Mom) my secretary is very lax in keeping our sidebar links updated, so I will list the new blogs here (in no particular order) for the time being. I know lots of you...for that matter, probably most of you...have already met some of these new friends, but if not please stop by and welcome them! If anycat knows about someone new, not listed here, please let me know.

Now Mom, as you already know, keeping up with my...uh, I mean OUR social life is a very demanding job. It's embarrassing when we don't get around to visiting friends in a timely manner. They might think we don't care about them any more and we DO!!!! Not to mention that fact that we find out about contests, parties and events like the arrival of new siblings, etc after they've already happened!
The way I see it Mom, there is only one solution to this problem. You must quit your job and be available to us at least 18 hours a day in order to tend to our increasingly hectic schedule! Yes, yes...I understand all about needing green papers, but someone (and apparently the responsibility has fallen on ME) has to decide what's more important here -- green papers or US!!!

I also want to mention an exciting new blog, Single Kitties Love Cafe, that Queen Snickers has started that's sort of like eHarmony or Match.com for those cats who are looking for that "special someone" to share your life.
I know for a fact that there are lots of Mancats out there who are lonely, just hoping to meet some lovely young beauty. This is your big chance, guys!!! And all you girlcats who thought love would never find you, there are plenty of smart, handsome guys out there. Valentine's Day isn't too far away -- WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? Stop over at Single Kitties Love Cafe and post your information, but please remember there are kittens out there, so keep your postings "K" rated!!
For those of you that have already found true love ( whether with another feline or other species) Monty Q has a great new contest called Who Do You Love, where you can dedicate a valentine to the love of your life. I'm sure my sisters Tipper & Misty will have entries for their guys, Mattingly & Speedy. And I saw Max working feverishly on a lacey little something for his girl Harlie.

I am pleased to see that you have whipped your human into shape for this at least. I am still working on mine for those new cats! I don't know how we can keep up with everyone!
I think she should just sit here and blog and talk to other cats!
I know there are so many new bloggers! We admire you for keeping up. We just don't have enough time as the LL already spends her whole day at work and many hours at night helping us. We're tapped out.

Hi guys! Thanks for including us in your list of newbies. We love meeting everyone but it is hard to keep up. The Peacemaker has to do things like clean, feed the wee ones, teach them to read...blah,blah,blah.
There are lots of wonderful new cats blogging! It's great. :) And although our blog has been around for over a year now, Merlin, of course, is new to cat blogging. :)
Thanks for the info on the Single Kitties Love Cafe. When Merlin is old enough, if he doesn't have a girlfriend, he'll check it out!

Thanks for all those links. I had heard a little about a single's site made by Queen Snickers but never saw the web address. I had no idea about the Valentine's Day contest. That sounds very interesting.
It's hard to keep up with the new blogs, too. I don't always get a chance to check the Cat Blogosphere every day to check for new blogs. Or even the current news.
Oh I know what you mean when you say that it's hard to keep up with everyone!! Time goes so quickly and before we know it three or four days have slipped by and we haven't written and -- oh -- you know.

We sure wish we could keep up wif all da new kitty bloggers. We can barely visit all our current friends as it is.
We WILL ty to visit some of the new ones though. They deserve visits! We 'member what it was like when WE started - No visits or comments at all at first...
