A Hurricane in the Snow

GEORGE

Last week while Hurricane Reyna was staying with us, we had a major snowstorm (we're getting a little bit more today!) and I thought I'd show you a few pictures of her out in the snow.

Here you can see her on the deck near the window that looks out onto it.

And this is her standing on her hind legs, looking in the window!

And here she is wanting to come in, looking like a rabid dog, foaming at the mouth! Honestly...I don't know why Mom didn't just leave her outside!

What is it about (ugh) DOGS that humans find so appealing?

My mom says a very long time ago she had a woofie that used to like to play snowplow--putting his nose down in the snow and running around the yard pileing it up on his face. Woofies are pretty strange sometimes.

We bet yoor dad has more common sense den da naybors brofur...heck, mom sez a potato has more common sense.

I don't mind wolfies at all. I like to chase them...

I used to have a woofy. I actually kind of miss him sometimes, though I can't tell you exactly why. He was big and hairy and didn't smell very good, but he was nice. He'd let me curl p on his giant bed, and I miss his bed, too.

I don't know the answer to your question. My Lady and Senor are going to get a big dog this summer. The Lady has never had a dog before, but Senor does. They are going to get a Rottweiler. I hope that is a small dog that I can boss around. I'm not really sure though.

After a few days of "Reyna, sit", "Reyna, stay" and "REYNA, NO" I bet even the humans were thinking "Reyna, kennel".

Wow, it seems like the snow is NEVER going to go away. Our bean moved to Virginia from Chicago last year (before we were born) and she is loving that there is barely any snow here. We wish your weather would get warmer too!

Hey, some of us here are dogs and we think we're darned appealing! We walk Jan, let her know when anyone is anywhere near her block, taste test everything we find on our walks (even if not edible) in case she has a snack attack and the "food" is poisoned, and ..... Well, we're all good-looking too.
