Having a Time Machine

Hmmm....interesting that Garfield's purrthday is coming up and so is mine. I don't quite understand the intended humor in his remark about a "time machine" which could be interpreted in various ways. But it did get me to thinking about what I'd do if I had a time machine. Should I go ahead and see what the average feline's world would be like or should I go back and maybe be a cat in ancient Egypt where we were worshipped?
Then, in a flash, it came to me!! I'd go back in time to when my Dad was a boy and be his cat. He's always saying things like, "I didn't know how cool kitties were" 'cause see, he didn't become a 'cat person' until I was adopted. Yes, yes...Mom & Dad had the cats that came before, but remember...none of them was ME!!!
OK, I admit I'm a "Daddy's Boy" but over the past almost 11 years I've worked very hard and have singled pawedly turned my Dad into a cat person. I know if I had been with him when he was young I could have made him into a cat person years ago! All you cats that live with small humans are to be congratulated 'cause you're performing a valuable service for all felines by giving the world more 'cat people' and that's a good thing.So, here's the question for you all. What would you do if YOU had a time machine?

George, it is wonderful that you turned your dad into a cat person! :) Merlin is a daddy's boy too! We are both our dad's first cats since he's terribly allergic to furred cats, but isn't allergic to Sphynx!
George, that is the highest calling to turn a non cat human into one...
I'd go back to when my Fergus was alive and be happy again with him.
hmmmm, if we hadded a time machine, we would:
Sammy: go ahead to see if Total Werld Dom-a-nay-shun has happened. It would be interesting to see if there is a Meezer ruling the werld (ok, well, ANY cat ruling the werld).
Miles: I would go ahead to see if there were better shelters for animals wif no furever homes.
Billy: ME would go back to pick my mom lady person earlier so maybe ME would be able to see out of bof eyes. OH OH OH OH OH, and ME would go forward to see if ME gets a girlfriendcat. OH OH OH OH OH, and ME would go back to visit Grampa Norton to see if ME is really like him. OH OH OH OH OH and ME would go forward to see if me efur is allowed to sleep on the bed. THEN ME would prolly frow up from all the bouncing around.
We woke Zippy up to ask her and she mumbled something about going back and getting DNA from Punkin and cloning her so dat neither of us would be here...she's mean. Speedy would go back to the day he was brawt to dad's job and make daddy take him home with him in da first place.
Sadie says she'd go back and let herself be trapped wif her first set of kittens instead of loseing dem and waiting to get trapped wif da second set. She sez dat she'd also go back and not try to chase Zippy so Zippy wouldn't be so angry wif her now...
Way to go George - all beans should be "cat people"!
Well, I like my Daddie, but I really prefer my Mommie. I wish I could have a time machine to see what will be in fashion in the future. Then, I could wear those outfits now and I would be considered cutting edge!
I would go back in time to when momma was little and show her that one day should find a kitty that wouldn't make her sneeze and would slowly build an annuity in her to most kitties. Yep I'm special. :D ~Queen Snickers

I would go to the future to get a cure for FIP, then.....go to the past and give my brother Tonka the medicine he needed so he would be with us today. =^Y^=Ty
I would go back to when Livvie was my age and Sheba was alive. I would be able to play with them both and run around with them.

I made MY dad into a cat person too! Or really an Eric person because I am the only cat he likes.
If I had a time machine I would go to the Feline Greenies factory on the day they decided not to market their product in the UK and CHANGE THEIR MINDS!!!!
We would fix our time machine so it was set to the days our beans are around more so we can get extra attention and ear scritches. Glad to hear your dad is now a cat person.

I think everyone would become a cat person if he/she spend enough time with cats.

That's a hard one...I don't really think cats have had it as good at any other time in history. Even in Egypt weren't they killed when their mistresses died and mummified with them? Eeeek! I certainly wouln't want to come back during the dark ages and in early american history when people thought cats were evil.
It would have been fun to find my mom when I was just a baby then I could have skips the scary part of my life with the coyotes and not having enough food.
