Last night when I was having my holding, Dad explained in great detail that he's holding me the same way you hold a Blurpy.
I think my Dad has been using ME for practice all these years so he could be ready when our family finally got a Blurpy Girl!
I feel used.

Poor guy, well, yoo all just come to da cabin wif us and der will be NO BLURPIES ALLOWED. It's a kitty weekend! Mom even bawted some extra treats and she's bringing along a bag of homegrown nip!

Don't feel used George, you kept him in practice all these years.
George, if we may proffer an alternative view, perhaps your Dad is holding the blurpy the same way as he is used to holding you, so his technique doesn't change and disturb you.

Well, the only fair thing to do after that is to send the blurpy back where it came from! He obviously needs more practice -- with you.
Your dad has very good technique, but I think he needs to keep practicing by holding you (often) in order to perfect his technique.
I agree with Grrreta - you've been doing such a great job but there is always room for improvement! :)

Not to worry, George. Someday the blurpy girl will be too big to hold like that and your dad will miss it and get back to holding you more. But what an honor for you to have been instrumental in daddy's training.
