Misty Update 3

MISTY

Hi everycat. I just got back from my doctor visit. My temperature is still up so I have to take 3 more days of pills, but I'd rather do that than take that icky medicine. Dr. Olson says I don't have enough red in my blood so she stole some of it to try and figure out why. I tried to tell her maybe it's 'cause I'm a Pink Lady, but she didn't seem to understand.

Speedy dear, put your paws over your ears 'cause I don't want you to hear this part. I'm using my litterbox just fine now and my doctor says that's a good thing 'cause it means my insides are working. OK Speedy, you can listen again.

I'm still not very interested in eating so Mom has to give me 2 plastics every day with that special food with water until I eat by myself. I did eat a few crunchies today, but only a few.

I have to see Dr. Olson again on Tuesday to talk about my blood 'cause she says I'm not well yet so I have to keep on living in the bathroom until then. Max and George are still hissing at me, but Tipper says I smell OK to her. Maybe that's 'cause I've been grooming myself a little.

My collar is a little hangy 'cause I lost some weight, but did everycat notice my badge of courage on my leg?

Hi, Misty, we just came by to check on you for the report after your visit to the vet. It sounds like you're getting a little better and that's GOOD. We hope that you keep improving and are much better by your next checkup. We all love you.

Misty, we are so happy that the litterbox issue is working out fine. That is a good sign. We understand that you don't feel a lot of appetite but try to eat some! It will make you regain your strength. Relax and don't worry about the others - they'll eventually stop hissing.

That is good news you're doing potty now. I hope that soon you'll be interested in eating on your own. I hope the vet can figure out quickly why you don't have enough red in your blood, so they can fix that. We continue to purr for you, Misty.

We're very glad that your insides are working. We're purring very hard that your blood will get back to normal and that your appetite will return soon. I think your vet might need to stick to his day job and give up on giving hair cuts.

Thanks for the update, Misty! Please please please eat, ok? Do you have to wear a cone? Because when I had to wear a cone I refused to eat or drink. The Mom finally figured it out and would take it off me through out the day when she could keep an eye on me so that I could have a snack and get a drink.
I saw your shaved arm. The good news is that arm furs grow back pretty quick. Tummy furs seem to take a lot longer, so be patient with that. :)

We are still purring and purraying for you. Hang in there!
