The Ongoing Problem
GEORGEMy secretary finally updated our sidebar and added almost 2 dozen new cats. If you're not on our links list, please let me know!
We all love meeting new friends but it's official now. There are so many cats in The Cat Blogosphere I can no longer keep up with my social visits unless I have 2 full time secretaries at my disposal.
Mom, what would you think about hiring an assistant?
MOM
An assistant? I'd love to have an assistant to help me. How much can you pay?
GEORGE
ME?! I can't pay anything! I don't have any green papers. I assumed you'd pay her.
MOM
Good luck on that!!
GEORGE
OK. In that case, I guess you'll just have to stay awake 24/7 so I can visit all my old & new friends.
MOM
Yeah right...good luck on that, too!

You got so many cat friends! We first thought we weren't on the list, but then we saw we are on the VIP International list!
We got two humans and even they can't keep up.
Good luck on the assistant/keeping the human awake.
I bet she is feeling really bad for you, having to stay awake 24/7, and will realize she just needs to work harder for you.
I can't believe how many cats comprise the cat blogosphere. I know for me, personally, that I can't visit everyone every single day. (However, if your mom wants to pay me to visit *your* friends, let me know.) I'm just going to make a good effort to keep up with my friends, and hopefully, that will be enough.
Of course, if I end up making 100 new friends in the next month, that might prove to be difficult, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it...

Our mom needs an assistant too so we can visit all our furiends...unless we learn how to turn on the computer and type. Naaaaa! We'd rather just keep dictating!
George, My mom said the same thing! After we added Google Reader and then started adding friends to it, the list of folks I wanted to visit got so long I'd have more posts in a day than she had time to visit! I just told her that her primary responsibility is to me and all other concerns fall before me..so if she dropped everything else she does, she'd have PLENTY of time to visit ALL my friends EVERY DAY!! How hard can that be?
Sigh. You know I feel the same way. I wish we could start a volunteer corps to help cats read blogs...
We used to try to visit almost every cat every day, but now we cannot do that, either. But we try our very best!
It's hard to get good help.I know cause my mom says the same as yours....Humans :)
What about your Dad? Can he take dictation and use a computer? I bet you could get him to work for free!
I know, so many furiends and not enough time. We try to zip by our faves every day, some once a week, others every couple of weeks. Some we can do that, they don't blog every day. Spring is coming!
We know what ya mean. We got about 100 cat blogs on our Bloglines list an we cant't visit efreyone efry day. But we try for efry few days...
So many great blogs, so little time.
Oh yes I hear this complaint too. We tried lurking but let's face it I am rarely at a loss for words.
We know how you feel. We keep Percy's paws humming on this keyboard but we can't keep up either. There are so many blogs and more each day. Sigh. Maybe we should check them out in shifts.
Wow Crew, your list of friends is ENORMOUS! Maybe you should try to visit each one just once a week or something like that.
