My Cat-O-Lympic Competition

Hi, it's me, Misty, and I'm so exited to be part of the 2010 Cat-O-Lympics!! My best wishes go out to all the participants.

Today I'll be competing in the Kleen Machine category. I hope you like my performance and I want to thank Tygana at One Cat's Nip for hosting this event and Fin for organizing this great competition.

One second...let me just prepare myself with a few final adjustments here. NO! Don't look yet...I'm not ready!!!

OK, you can look now. I'll be performing my routine to the lovely ballad, "Misty", performed by Johnny Mathis. (Click the pointy arrow below to listen while you watch my performance)

Here is my beginning front stretch. Notice the perfect double front leg extension, the line of the right leg with paw pad exposure, the arch of the neck and just a hint of pink ID tag showing.

This is followed by my head tilt with paw kiss introducing my detailed toe cleaning work. Notice the bend of my wrist with slight belly floofiness below for added interest.

And the big finale includes the ever-so-slight toe extension, with tongue flourish and whisker points.

(huff puff) Thank you, thank you everyone!

(curtsey's to judges and blows a kiss to audience)

LOL - Who knew that Misty was so flexible and versatile?! :) Perhaps she can teach Shasta and Reyna a thing or two about poise and grace.

Yes, your form is truly remarkable...such perfection, such grace. And SO clean!!!

Thank you so much for coming by to visit my blog during the CAT-O-LYMPICS! It was a super fun week... but now I need to add a new sport to my repertoire: Power Napping.
