My Calming Collar

MAX

See this? It's my new calming collar. I know, I know, it's a girly color but Mom said they don't have red ones.

My first one wore out after 30 days and Mom got me this new one. She thinks it's helping my "inappropriate peeing", as she calls it 'cause I haven't done any of that recently. I'm really trying to be good.

Also, I'm a little less skittish and a little more friendly. I've never been much of a lap kitty, but I'm proud to say I've actually come over to Mom and laid down on her lap a few times...something I almost never did before. Granted, I don't stay very long, but it's progress and Mom thinks it's a result of the calming collar.

For anycat interested in trying one, you can get them at any large pet supply store for about $15 and you wear it right along with your regular collar. After 30 days, the effect wears off and you need to get a new one.

Max, we're glad the collar is having a positive effect. BTW, it's a light purple (looks like that to us) and purple is for royalty--not a "girly" colour at all. ;-)

We are interested in this info about the calming collar. Mom wonders if one would stop me escaping from the deck.

I wonder if one of those would make Gemini friendlier? Perhaps we should try it?

That must be real helpful, since us cats are so clean living in a big potty would be quite uncomfortable

WE are glad the collar is helping you out! We tried one on Barney but the smell gave our mom a headache after a few minutes so it had to go away!

We think the purple is a very nice colour and it suits you. Not at all girly.

Hmmm...sounds like pot in a collar. I want. I don't care if it's a girly color. It's like da wacky weed!

Kirby wears one and it has helped hid bad behavior of jumping on Angle and biting her. WE can tell when it is wearing off, though!

Max, that would ruin my reputation of being a sassycat!

Always good to hear a positive recommendation. We're going to tell our neighbor lady about it for her cat.

Purple isnt "girly". It is the color of KINGS and QUEENS! Pink is girly, Celery is girly. Powder blue is girly...

Purple fits royalty of mancats AND girlcats... Dont you worry about that at all.

I don't know Max, I don't think purple is a girly color. I think it's a neutral color for ManCats and the girls. I am so glad to hear the color is working for you. Mom says she's never heard of them but thinks it's a pretty neat deal.
