Something terrible happened today. It's shameful, that's what it is...downright SHAMEFUL!! I was denied what was rightfully mine. I was minding my own business this morning when suddenly I smelled tuna. Mmmmm.... (drools) tuna...
Sorry, where was I? Oh yes, I smelled tuna so I headed for the kitchen where Dad was opening a can to fix for his lunch.
Well naturally I meowed politely to let him know I was there and ready for my tuna water, and instead of giving it to me, he walked into the bathroom where Mom was fixing her hair and asked if I could have it. I heard her say "No, I accidentally bought 'oil' pack instead of 'water' pack. I don't want him having all that oil."
When Dad came back in the kitchen I asked again for the bowl, a little louder this time, and he had the nerve to say "Cool it, Max". Can you believe that?! There I was, practically starving to death with the smell of tuna in my nose, and...

Well alright, maybe I wasn't starving to death, but, as you can see, I'm definitely faint with hunger and is it MY fault she bought oil pack tuna? NO!! Should I be made to suffer because of HER mistake? NO!!!
And as if that wasn't bad enough, I saw FIVE more cans on the shelf!
I feel weak. Can someone bring me some tuna water, please?

Gees, you'd think they could have given you even just a little teaspoon of the tuna oil. How cruel!
I agree with Kea, she could have given you a small taste. However, when this happened at our house and Mom did give me a small amount of the oil, I wasn't interested. So you didn't miss much.
Send her to the store for water packed tuna!!

That is TERRIBLE! Your dad should have taken some tuna, put it in a collander, and have the water run on it to get all the oil off, then give you the tuna!

We haf six cans of tuna packed in spring water...we'll see if we can get mom, no wait, dad is easier to fool, to open dem and send yoo all da water. Except for one, no two, cans. Well, we hafta haf some too ya know.

This is terrible. Why didn't your mom return the incorrect tuna in oil purchase and exchange it for the acceptable water one? She could have done that in her spare time. Summer makes my mom sooo lazy.
