Cooking with our Girl
GEORGE
Our Girl is learning how to cook with Mom, who is her Gramma. Today they're making something and I was interested to see what they were doing so I got on the chair with our Girl so I could watch.
OK, let's see...what's going on up here? Any ham? Any tuna water? Any anything that I might like?
What is this stuff, Mom? It doesn't smell like food. It smells kind of weird.
MOM
It's pie crust, Georgie, and you don't like it.

OK, I'm outta here!

It might be tuna pie! You never know!
How cool that you got to check it all out though! I'm impressed.
You are a good helper, just like your girl!

Pie crust, feh! One of the biggest wastes of butter, ever.

Thanks for your comment on my bloggie today. : )
Maybe, if you are lucky, there will be Four-and-Twenty blackbirds baked in the pie!
There might be something yummy going under the pie crust so don't go off too quickly.
they could have at least made you something good!
Next time, suggest a chicken pot pie. Then you get to watch and sample what's going inside!
