Purrthday Treats

Today is our purrthday and there's nothing ready. Mom TOTALLY forgot it!

MAX

Yeah.

TIPPER

How are we supposed to have our friends over and how am I supposed to ask my dear mancat, Zero, to come and help me celebrate turning 9 when there's nothing ready?

MAX

Yeah, 'cept I'm turning 8!

TIPPER

What about having some treats and ...

MAX

Yeah, TREATS!!

TIPPER

Max, you know where Mom keeps the treats, right?

MAX

Yeah. Are we having TREATS?



TIPPER

Yes. You go get them and I'll get things ready for our friends to come over. You'd better get several bags so our friends will have their choice of flavors. Then bring them all into the living room near the pillows so everycat can be comfortable while we eat.

MAX

(munchmunch...nomnomnom...munchslurpmunch) Huh...did you say something?

TIPPER

Everycat, come on over and help us celebrate our purrthday. And hurry, before there are no treats left!
