We're in Arid-zone!
GEORGE
We're here, everyone! We made it all the way from Whisk-onsin to Arid-zone.
At first Mom thought we could share carriers, Max and I in one, and Tipper and Misty in the other, but that didn't work out well. Too much hissing going on with all of us stressed out, so Mom put us each in a carrier by ourselves.
We each wore a calming collar and our blankets were sprayed with some calming stuff, but we still meowed for the first hour of the trip. After that, we calmed down.
TIPPER
Mom had a new litterbox for us, too, one that fits in a corner and we got a chance to use it every time the car stopped. Mom made sure all the car doors and windows were closed, then each of us, one at a time, was let out of our carrier so we could have water and use the litterbox if we needed to.
MAX
And you know what, we didn't get anything to eat the whole trip, and it took forever!! I thought I was going to starve to death and asked Mom for food, but she didn't give me any.
MISTY
Oh for Bast's sake, it was only 2 days and Mom didn't give us anything but water 'cause she didn't want us to have to poop and not be able to get to the litterbox. She made us open our mouth and gave us lots of water, though.
GEORGE
Anyway, it was a long, boring trip, but we're all fine and Mom has her inner-nets working so we'll be talking to you more often now.
TIPPER
We're living in a bedroom and bathroom in our human sister's house until we get a house of our own, but our room is real big and bright and we rest all day. Mom says it'll be a while until we have our own house.
MAX
And guess what. Mom says she's real proud of me 'cause I haven't peed anywhere since we got here!!
MISTY
Mom put our cat perch right by a window so we can look out, but we mostly sleep all day. When Mom and Dad come to bed at night, we all pile on the big bed. Here's a picture of what we see out the window by our perch.

I'm glad you guys made it safe! I bet that is a WAY different view than what you had in Wisconsin!
Sweet! At least the car part of the M-word is over. Last time I had to to that it was 4 days in the car so I'm glad the people let me eat...but I still didn't poop during the day. I waited until they were trapped in the hotel rooms with me at night and then cut loose. Heh.
Glad that nasty part of the car ride is over! Woo Hoo!!! And now you are going to get your own place!
We are glad that you all arrived safely.
Those long car rides are terrible for kitties and doggies! We are glad you have arrived safely and are getting to eat again!

So glad you got to Arid-Zone safely. Boy your perch is way up high and you have a great view. Looks like you are on the second floor. Get to see over the rooftops. Max I am proud of you for not peeing once you got there. I hope you are still being a good boy. Hope and pray you will find a great house for yourselves real soon
I know this is late, no excuses but I'm going to give one anyway. My computer is very slow and freezes up. But anyhow I truly want to thank you for your condolences on the passing of Casper. It was very much appreciated. Thank you again.
Yay! You made it!!!!
Mom thinks she would like some of that calming stuff for her trips. She is a home body and even though seeing friends and family, or just vacationing in Phx for 2 weeks in March is good, she hates to be away from her home.
What's that mom......it's called Valium.....?
Yay...and we'z furry late visiting a'cuz we haf a new brofur, well, mom sez he's a brofur but we are still deciding if he should be allowed to akshooally be in our fambly. Speedy is coming to see Misty, we won't talk to any of us about what's up 'cuz he sez we'll spoil da surprise. Oh, shoot, we did spoil da surprise. Well, he's on his way and should be der any time now. Haf fun. Glad yoo made it all da way to Arid-Zone wifout to much difficulty.
