Thank You All
It's been 2 weeks since we had to send George to The Bridge. We got his ashes back and he is now resting in a lovely wooden box in the antique secretary in our living room, next to the chair where he sat every evening with his Dad.
My husband and I would like to thank everyone, old friends and new, for your kind words and wishes. They truly touched us.
In 8 1/2 years, I have met, learned to love and cried over the loss of so many great cats. It has been wonderful to know that all cat lovers are the same no matter where in the world we live.
I have thought about whether to continue this blog and have decided to stop. George was an extraordinary cat and, as such, was the inspiration for most of what I wrote. I know some who have lost their cats have stopped blogging and others have continued, but I hope everyone will understand that my heart just isn't in it any more.
Thank you to all who followed Crew's Views faithfully. I am going to leave the blog up since I do want to visit our old friends from time to time.

You are making the right decision for you. It's something that everybody whose cats blog have to figure out for themselves. Before Sparkle died, I was already going to come here and work on the blog because my human's mission with us kitties is nowhere near done yet. But some kitties are such a huge inspiration for their humans that it pointless to carry on. Purrs to you, and maybe some day a kitty will come along that will inspire you to get back into blogging.
We totally do understand. Love and hugs from all of us.

I understand but will miss you. When Eric left us I almost had decided to stop blogging too, but have made so many friends that I did keep going, but it's not the same as before and never can be.

We know how you feel about having George back with you at home. Sweet Praline and Beignet are right beside Mom Paula's chair she sits in all the time.
We support whatever decision you make about the blog. Mom Paula kept Sweet Praline' blog active, but decided to start a new one for us. We'll miss you.

Tipper, Max and Misty...take care of your humans...give them some extra kisses and hugs. We surely understand your decision. Sometimes the blog 'voice' only comes from one animal even though there are siblings. Mom often wonders if there had been an internet back when she had her first cat if she could have found a voice for him. He was very laid back and docile. 360 degrees different from me and she thinks my personality was better suited for the WWW. Mom says I'm her inspiration too, Hugs and purrs to you all

I unfortunately know too well how you felt when you decided not to continue your blog. Zeroichi died over a month ago, and I am still grieving. I fondly remember the short online relationship he shared with Tipper, and decided to visit her. That's when I read about her brother's passing. I am so sorry. From one sad cat parent to another... *hug*.
