Sink Washing

MAX

I've discovered a new thing that some of you probably already know about. I was on the bathroom sink, so Mom turned on the faucet for me just a little bit. I was surprised at first 'cause I've never played in a sink before and didn't know what to expect. Now I see that it's a great way for us kittys to clean up quickly.

Just swipe each paw in the water, then dunk your head and ears in. A few well placed licks after that to smooth everything down and you're clean and ready for any occassion!

This is so much better than trying to freshen yourself in the water bowl or (whispers) the toilet. I'm just sorry I didn't know about it sooner.

With this knowledge, you kittys that are given baths can explain that now you can handle this part of your grooming by yourself, completely eliminating all the trouble.

Oh, I don't know. I hate wet stuff except kitty spits of course. Your toes are furry white, you must wash lots.

Discovery always is the funnest part of every day!!

My Ep hated baths/being immersed. Back in 1994 I had a room-mate and decided to move out when I came home and discovered that he was giving Eppy a bath without my permission. That kind of discovery was not fun.

That second picture of the top of your head and little paw reaching is my favorite.

Oh yeah. I do this all the time. Mum and I both try to use it at the same time. Mum says I better be careful or I might get her used toothpaste foam spitted on me. By accident of course.

But sometimes I gets my paws wet and then shake them and get mum wet. She is usually washing her face, so she just laughs.

Also when mum takes a big drink she fills her cup up and then pours the extra very slowly so I can play with it.

Plus she keeps me a big drinky bowl right on the counter for me too. Then I don't have to go all the way to the other end of the house to just get a drink.

William's right! You can turn those on by yourself! Think how proud your People will be--kind of how proud mine were when I learned to turn the bathroom lights on and off!

Scout loves to play in the sink. Scooby likes to drink from it if its a slow drip.

The big sink in the kitchen always has lumpy things in it. And the little sink in the bathroom is not very comfy. I'd think the sink is better than the toilet tho, if you're gonna clean like that. I'll just do the lickies tho, cause I don't like being in water much. Those are awful cute pictures of you playing with the water tho Max! You look like you're having lots of fun.

I never thought about washing that way. I will have to think on that. I do love faucet water for drinking though. Thanks for the idea! Happy new year!
