Not Polite

TIPPER & MAX

Last night we both threw up while Mom was making dinner. We had just finished eating our dry food (no stinky goodness in this house!!) and were having a small after dinner bath under the kitchen table, when suddenly it just happened! Usually George with his delicate stomach is the throw up one, but Mom knew it was us 'cause she heard us and turned and saw it - first me then Max.

Now, we all know cats throw up from time to time and usually we don't mind if it's over with quickly and we can get back to whatever we were doing. But do you know what happened this time? It prevented us from having any of the salmon Mom was making for herself and Dad! She said "If you two are already throwing up, you're not getting anything else".

This is completely unfair!! Just because a furperson throws up doesn't mean anything. The polite thing to do is offer us something and it should be up to us to decide if we want to eat it or not. Keep this in mind for future reference, Mom. We 're glad we have our blog to write about this type of treatment.

How horrible that you weren't even offered any salmon. That's just WRONG.

That salmon could have soothed your tummies. That barf & don't eat rule just applies to humans. Scooby throws up all the time...usually 'cause he eats too fast.

LOL, please feed those barfing kitties some salmon!

Last night I was on the top of my carpeted cat tree and I decided to spew right down the tree. I did this while my Mom and her brother were eating. Mom is very used to this, but not her brother...he almost threw up too!

Take care of your tummies!

Heck guys, you were just making room in your tummies for the salmon. You couldn't get it through far enough the regular way fast enough. So what better way to make room than to get something else out.

I haven't had salmon. I gotta check that one out.

Wow...I think your People and my People must be related. I mean sheesh, if you barfed then your tummy was EMPTY and you NEEDED something else, right??? But no...my People would with hold the good stuff, too. Because people are selfish!!!

Who do you think you are? A couple of supermodels?

Magoo says that you ate your food but when you smelled the salmon, you wanted to make some room for it.

I have to admit that makes sense.

I think it shows a strong sense of solidarity between you two. What's good for one is good for the other! All for one and one for all! You puke and I'll follow!!

That's true teamwork!

If that happened to me, the next time I would be sure and do it on the carpet!

We don't have stinky goodness either. I am the only one that throws up and Mom won't give me any food when I do that either. I hate having to wait.

That was SO not right! They could have, at the very least, saved some for you. I throw up all the time and mom just waits until later to give me stuff as a treat. (My v-e-t says it's because I eat and drink too fast.)

I can quietly and quickly throw up. But my brother Salem doesn't know how. He literally tried so hard that he fainted. REALLY truly. Just got CATatonic. Scared my Cat Couch and she took him to the vet. (ha ha) They said that he just got too upset from trying to throw up a huge hairball. that goober

Synchronized - I'm impressed. My people think I need less food more often. I like the more often part. We get stinky goodness once a day since Victor cow cat came. They think it will help me like him. I'll keep the food, ditch the kitten.

I wheeze a little, but it goes away. My sisfur Bonnie makes a scene, then looses control and flops over. Once, she fell backwards down the stairs from one! Since it's mostly food she hasn't really eaten, is it ok for me to eat it? Mom says gross.
