Aliens Among Us?
MAXSee this thing I found in the kitchen right on the edge of the rug? I've never seen one before and I'm not sure what it is, so you'd better not touch it. Everyone stay back while I check it out.

No.... I don't think so. I know what ice cream is. It comes in a bowl that you share with Tipper. This is different.
While I'm second in command we can't be too careful, Mom. We don't want to take any chances while Dad is away. This thing is probably harmless, but it might be something dangerous. I mean, who knows....maybe it fell off a UFO or something. Don't worry though.... I'm not afraid of anything! I'll protect us.
MOMMaxie.... I'm telling you, it's an ice cream stick.

OK, Mom....whatever you say. (whispers to readers) I think the little aliens might have brainwashed my Mom. I need to stay alert.
Maybe you should check out your own house for anything that looks suspicious.

Moms do have their sorry little words of endearment. But we do have eat, so we respond to them.

If anyone finds anything alien in your house, call the local TV station. They're always looking for weird new stories!
We have lots of those around here. They don't stay on the floor long because Princess picks them up and hands them to a grown-up. She says they are ih-ee. (We think she's trying to say icky.)
