TIPPER
But I want to see. What's that you're hiding behind you? AAAIIIEEE!! MY OCTOPUS!! WHO KILLED MY OCTOPUS??
Mom! What happened?? I was just playing with it last night and it was fine.
MOM
Well, I think Shasta got ahold of it and tore its head off.
TIPPER
Oh no! (sobs) My octopus! She knows that's my favorite toy. How could she do this to me?
Mom....hold me up.... I feel faint!
MOM
Calm down, Tipp. Your green & yellow one is still OK. See?
TIPPER
That's not a real octopus. A real one is red & white!
MOM
Go lay down and try to rest, dear. Tomorrow I'll get you a new red & white one and everything will be fine.
TIPPER
And I thought Shasta was my friend!

Know what? If you play wif the green an yeller ocapuss enuf, you mite find you likes it, too. I gots 2 red & white and 1 green an yeller, an I likes the green one bestest.
Poor Tipper. Victor stole my favoritest ball and slobbered all ofur it, then tried to return it. I feel your pain, sisfur. Give that Shasta a good hiss an a claw to the nose. Snub the yeller ocapuss an the new red one, and sulk. Should be good for extra treats if you do it right.

Bwhaaahaaa! We cracked up over that one! Just the laugh we needed today (not to say that it isn't a serious thing when your octopus gets it's head ripped off...). Now we wants one of those Octopus. Mommmm! Maybe we'll get one in our Easter Basket.
Woofies can't be trusted. Shasta should buy you a new one. AND she should be punished by not allowing her to visit. EVER!
Sorry to hear about your octopus. That Shasta should definitely not be llowed to visit again unless he's very very sorry and won't do it again, and can be trusted. Wait. A dog trusted??? Has to be a verryy special woofie!!!

Yikes. I think the WOman has a couple of red ones hidden in case Buddah's dies...because red is evidently THE octopuss color... He has the yellow and green n too, but no it HAs to be red to be fun....
The people just don't get it, they don't understand......and they will lie to you! Good thing they feed us well, that is all I can say.
We can get you a new one...they have them at the food store mom goes to. Can we send you one.

Oh no! Poor Tipper! That made me very sad--it's just not right when somebody wrecks our toys. I hope your mom gets you another one soon. And special treats, too. A LOT of them.
