My Art - Petals

GEORGE

This is the second in my postings about my art.

Petal art is done mainly in the morning on the bathroom sink, although it's not strictly limited to the bathroom. Mom has a basket filled with nice smelling potpurri there (but Dad & I call it petals) that I sit next to while I wait for Dad to finish his shower. As an aside, I should note that Max did some fine petal art with a potpurri basket in the living room. My student is coming along very nicely.

Sometimes when I'm feeling particularly creative, I'll snag a few petals and create a design on the counter top. Other times I just tip the basket a little and let the design happen by itself. There have been a few times when my creative juices were flowing so much I knocked the whole basket onto the floor to create a really large piece.

Again, Mom doesn't appreciate these larger pieces and destroys them immediately. How can I become a famous artist if no one sees my work?

My mom is laughing like Timmy's mom! She said, "There is no way I could ever have potpourri sitting around the house with you eating machines! My vet bill would be through the roof!"

I'm assuming she is referring to Brach...and not me.

George you like like an artist in a still life paintin in that picshur. Sometimes you jus have to reaarange things to suit you and if the petals is what it is then you must get your creativity out somehow!

A true artist must suffer for his art. So guess that is what you are doing. Just don't do a van Gogh and cut your ear off.

Mum doesn't keep any of that kind of stuff around here.

Wow! I found another artist at the other side of the world. I'm an artist too but Mummy & Daddy are not very appreciative of my works. I just did a great masterpiece last week.

You do a very nice job! I suggest you have your mom (or dad) take a picture of it before they insist on destroying it.

Mittens would just eat the petals. Don't let her see this post, she will teleport over and chow down.

I think you should encourage your human pet to take pictures of your artwork and then, if she wishes, destroy them so no one can possibly copy them. You two should then work together to distribute copies of your works so you can become insanely rich!

You are lucky to have things like that to play with. Our humans would never let us have anything like that, 'cause we would make grand messes and eat it.

Cos is entremely good at petal art too. He likes to make long designs that run through the living room and then under the table.
