My Thanks

TIPPER

Thank you everyone for your kind thoughts and offers of help in my time of need. The untimely demise of my beloved octopus at the hands er, paws, of Shasta (Sister B's puppy) was a terrible shock, but I'm recovering.

After a good nap, I'm feeling much better today 'cause Mom went out right away and got me a new red & white one, which we will hide when Shasta visits. Apparently those of us that have one love our octopus toys and, like me, prefer a red & white one. But to all of us who prefer the green & yellow ones -- GO FOR IT -- it's a matter of personal preference!

If any of you don't have an octopus yet, tell your Mom she can get one at the food store in the pet supply section. It's my favorite toy ever - but to keep me safe, Mom takes the bell off 'cause she's afraid I'll choke on it.

Note to Kukka: Yes, I'm a girl and will be 3 years old in a few weeks.

I thought you looked a little too feminine to be a boy, but I thought I should make sure.

I want to wear lipstick to accentuate my femininity, but my mom won't let me.

I don't have an octopus, but maybe I shall be asking for one now. I am sorry for your loss, but so glad you have such a thoughtful mommy.

I am glad you got a new octopus, Tipper. My feather toy got lost recently but it turned up down the side of the sofa, so all is well.

Tipper,
so glad you got a new octopus. Shasta is not a very good visitor! You should definitely hide the new one whenever she comes over!

That story gave us shudders. Poor octopus. We haven't gotten on yet. we're glad you got another one Tipper. What a shock to see a toy ripped to shreds on the floor. The horror. *sigh* ~Merlin, Shadow, Ko Ko

We are ordering an octopus. Mom has agreed to try and find one. The little wafer that was here visiting took all our toys and lined them up!! Of course, I had to place them back in their strategic places. Little Wafers have a thing about lining toys up I guess. I like mine spread around for easy access when I get in a play mood.
