Whapping

MAX

Well, I'll tell you one good thing about Misty living here. I am not the baby of the family any more. In fact, I've moved up one rung on the seniority ladder! YEESSS!! Finally I have someone to boss around.

I know she's been sick and all, but I did manage to whap her good a few times just so she knows I'm the boss of her and she has to do what I say! Mom saw me and hollered about "Being nice to the baby, blah, blah, blah" so now if I want to whap Misty, I have to do it when Mom's not looking.

Oh, how I miss the days of whapping Isis when she was a kitten. I got away with it much more back then than I do now because my human pet was under the assumption I was asserting my natural male dominance over her. Now, the human pet won't have it if we get too rough.

Whatever happened to my "male dominance", human pet? Grumble.

I get whapped around all the time. Maybe Momma will get a new baby and SHE can get whapped around...

You have to teach them early, who the boss is. Otherwise you have the problem I have with Mittens......NO RESPECT!!!

You have the right to keep her in line, Max! But...You just be sure and teach her good things! Your big brother now! Right?!

Btw, Crew's mom - Your family is just adorable! I've been meaning to stop by and peek at them, but have been sick w/strep! Yuck! So, here I am, finally! And the kitten is such a beauty! I love how her eyes purrfectly match her furr!

Be firm but gentle with those whaps. She needs to learn the rules of the house.

Got any stairs? When she feels better, you can push her down the stairs. I do that to Buddah...unfortunately, he seems to like it.

Whapping is a Good Thing. You need to put the kitten in her place or else she'll run all over you. I wish we had gotten the Annoying One when he was a kitten. Maybe then I would've been able to shape him into something a little less annoying.

Let her know you're boss, while you've got the chance. Just keep the claws in when you whap her.
