More on the Map Question

Well, apparently yesterday I raised a question among the kitties! Everyone thinks there was a map showing where we all live, but no one remembers for sure who did it. Lone Star Purrs thought maybe One of Us made it, but I can't find a map link on their page. If someone actually has made a map, please let me know!!

If there is no map already, Derby has suggested that some ambitious, intelligent cat (with a human that knows computer stuff really well) take on this project. With so many newcomers it's getting hard to remember where everyone is!

For all the newcomers who may not know what's gone on the past year, we've been a very busy group! If I've omitted anything that would be of interest to new kitties, someone please let me know.

1. Mia made the Purrthday List. You can contact her to have your name and purrthday added. If you don't know your real purrthday (and many of us don't), your gotcha day is perfectly acceptable.

2. Sanjee and her family made the Cationary. This is a cat dictionary of words we cat bloggers use frequently among ourselves that are versions of human words (like purrthday & gotcha day).

3. Sanjee also made a Cat Blogosphere page where you can catch up on news items about everyone. There you can keep up with who's having a party, who's running a contest, who has new siblings, who has health problems, etc. as well as many other links of interest to us cats.

4. There is Secret Paws run by Diva Kitty where you can send and receive toys & gifts to friends several times a year.

5. There are the social groups, Attack of the Tabbies, Gorgeous Gingers, House Panthers, The Tuxedo Gang and Coats of Many Colors (my group, and for those that are waiting for their membership buttons, please bear with my Mom who is working on new additions). For those who have a little 'nip problem, there is Catnip Anonymous. Any cat interested in joining any of these groups should contact the group administrator.

5. For those needing serious help there is the Prayer & Praise blog for cats and their families with special needs.

P.S. Thanks to Turtle, Moose & Nala (Les Trois Chats), Brandi (Catitude) and Meeko, Kiara & Emmy (Lone Star Purrs) for helping watch out for my Dad! Today he's in the Austin area.

Kaze, I know I'm a chick magnet, but I never thought anyone's Mom would be dreaming about me!!! Thank you...I'm honored.

If you ever cross Lake Michigan from Wisconsin, I'll look after you. There is a ferry that goes to Milwaukee from about 10 miles north of us.

If I could get out of the house, I might be able to jump on board!
