With so many in the Cat Blogosphere switching to beta blogger we find it's causing some, well better put, A LOT of problems! For instance on many blogs we read regularly, we can't leave comments now. We're signed in as us...Crews' Views...but Google thinks we're anonymous. What's with that? Now our friends will think we're not visiting them, but we are!
Also, Calico Girls hasn't been able to see our page without getting an error message. The same thing happens to Edsel, and we haven't even changed to beta blogger. Is anyone else getting error messages when trying to see our page?? If you aren't able to leave us a comment, please email us at thecrew@catlover.com.
At this point, I see no advantage to switching. To quote someone's comment "If it ain't broke, don't fix it".

We haven't switched but we are having lots of problems leaving comments on everyone who has gone over to the beta version.
we see you just fine and we can leave comments. we hasn't switched 'acuase our blog is too big to switch now. but we is hafing the same commenting prollem you are.
I haven't switched because it says my blog is too big (like The Meezers). I am always able to leave comments, I just hate when it asks if I want to show all items (like avatar photos).

(Also, I've never had any trouble seeing your page. But I also have laser beam vision. It's just something I was born with.)

We had issues switching and its seems like they are constantly messing up.

Not seeing your page could be a browser problem on their end, too. I use Firefox and have no trouble. I'd test with IE but Mom made it go away, and Mom says IE7 (which Microsoft is trying hard to foist on everyone through automatic downloads) is very very buggy.
We got an error one day but Momma got off the internet and then back on--she just closed out the browser and came back and it was okay--this was for regular blogger blogs than beta. But it was all blogger blogs, so we thought blogger was down but not beta. However the leaving and coming back fixed it--or else blogger did!
We thoughts we had to change. We have ours set to that if you don't have a blogger or google account you can do the "other". This is how Cheysuli leaves her address all the time. Sometimes if Georgia needs to comment, she does this as well, cause they don't have blogger blogs (beta or otherwise).
We is going to send the Almost Dad Wm's comment! He works for MS and thinks that IE7 is WONDERFUL--even though he can't do stuff he used to 'cause of IE7! :).
Momma's on a mac so she loves it when other people back up her postition on anything MS!
I dunno about Blogger Beta. I've always been on it and never had problems except at first I couldn't leave messages on regular Blogger blogs that blocked Nonny Mouse-posts. Now I can do that too.
Also, I could usually comment and stuff when all the regular Blogger blogs were having trouble. But then, I didn't have to try switching stuff over 'cause I always had beta.
Beta's got more stuff that you can just click buttons and do even if you don't know HTML.
Looks like we have no problem leaving a comment - but we can't at some other kitties bloggies 9we haven't switched to beta yet - eeek).
Oh, we can sees yoo and leef commints. But momma started our bloggie on beta so we's don't know 'bout the uffer. Dis duzent help duz it.
Hmmm, so far no issues about leaving comments. But at home where I normally read bloggies we use Firefox. But mum sometimes looks at them at work with IE and then she gets issues like Kukka mentioned. Mia's mum changed her blog over, but not Mia's from what I can tell.
Time will tell.
we have the old version still, and use IE, but don't have any problems seeing anything on anyone's page. this morning we could not comment on beta blogs, so our Lady signed us up for a gmail account for just us kitties. now we have our own e-mail address too, which is cool. anyway, we're signed into old style blogger, and we're also signed into our new gmail account, so we've been able to comment everywhere and it just picks up on whichever sign in automatically (no switching or re-entering info). it's been nice.
We see youz just finez. meowmize has us on the old blogger still though. She tried putting the pupskies bloggie on beta and she didn't likes it to much. She also got the update for IE7 , and the only fing she is having issues with right now is getting more pic-fers of us on the compooter.-Sia
Oh George et al, I'm on beta blogger but since I'm new to blogging there wasn't an option between original blogger and beta. Hope you are able to visit me and not get rejected. I love your blog.
A comment for Max - you are so right we would never leave a live one around - well not for long anyway.
I din't furrget ya on my Linky Collection! But silly beta putted it wif the "T's: fur "The Crew." So Mom changed it to George, Tipper, Max & Misty so it's under the "G's" now. I like that better.
It's weird cuz when I am at work I cannot access your bloggie at all. In fact I get totally kicked out of IE with some strange pop up message. I am now accessing you at home and not having any problems.
But I had all kinds of problems logging into BETA. I have a google email so I finally figured out I could access and leave comments that way with my furfriends BETA accts. But I am not switching to BETA unless they make me. My blog is probably too big to switch anyway. I am glad I held off switching. Blogger is making me want to go elsewhere.
I have no problems with Blogger beta-- it's just annoying that it asks you to sign in fur efurry picture you upload or when you want to comment. We have old IE at home, but Mom's computer at work downloaded the IE7 and it's messing with their email system (outlook)and some web pages show up funny now. I haven't had any problems posting on anyone's pages.
