Happy Squllions Day!

Our very good friend, Derby, has announced that today is SQUILLIONS DAY! Everyone in the Cat Blogosphere knows about the Litter of Squillions so I thought it would be appropriate to show a few pictures of our litter member, Midnight. He came to live with us very soon after Derby first posted about Vir-ginger.

Mom saw him along with some of his littermates at our local Green Wall Shelter and couldn't resist bringing him home 'cause he reminded her of our brother Max. The litter turned out to be so huge that many eventually went to live with families in other countries, too. I think Midnight has lost track of most of his siblings.

So far, he hasn't lead a very exciting life. Some of The Squillions, like at Sanjee's house, lead very active lives, but Midnight's life is very quiet. I never see him eat anything either. That's puzzling, but I guess he's watching his weight or something!

Here is the first picture of him we posted. Isn't he handsome? He lived outside until the weather turned too cold, then Mom brought him in.

Here I am visiting with him. I offered to check his ears and clean them, but they look pretty good already. He must be taking care of them himself!






















And here's where he's spending the winter, on top of the TV cabinet by the one remaining plant that Misty hasn't killed. When spring comes to Whisk-onsin, I'm sure he'll want to be outside again among all the flowers. Maybe then he can get a few bugs 'cause he must be starving!
