Do Not Stop Blogging.
There are a lot of feelings being expressed about the Mr. Litterbox contest, which started off as a fun, creative thing. I enjoyed creating Max's entry and seeing how others showed off their cats.
From what I'm reading today, the outcome of this has prompted some bloggers to consider shutting down their blogs. I know, without a doubt, I speak for all of us when I say, NO ONE wants that to happen. OK, if you're embarassed, we understand. If you're disgusted about this, we understand. If you're ashamed, we understand. But, come on people, we all make mistakes and can move on. Maybe this is a lesson for the next blogger brave enough to run a contest -- 1 cat, 1 vote.
I, for one, would hate to see anyone stop blogging over this. We're all creative catlovers, who enjoy expressing ourselves in this way and I think everyone is mature enough to be able to put this behind them and continue. It would be a shame to lose some of our best loved, most creative blogs.

Bravo!! I agree completely. I think we will all be OK but we needed a reality reminder. I truly hope no one stops because I need everyone's special creativity to get me through the day.

Well said, Crew's Mom. For anyone of them to quit because of this will add to the ugliness of this mess. The blogosphere will be a much poorer place without them. I feel that they should forgive themselves, learn the lesson(s) being taught, and blog on.

Hi Crew! We are going around this weekend letting all the blogs we visit know how much we appreciate them. We have always loved your blog. George and Max, you are such gentlemencats. George you have taught us much about art (a passion we share), and Max your brilliance always shines through. Misty is of course adorable and we have enjoyed so much watching her grow. Bru-ha-has like this should only cause you to take stock and calibrate your own path to your vision. Dwelling on it will rot your brain and quitting over it would just be disappointing.
