Mancat Midnight is OUT!
MISTY
Our squillion Mancat brother Midnight has moved outside for the summer. Here he is helping Mom plant some containers for the front porch.
And here he is among the early blooming perrenial flowers - ajuga and dwarf iris.
What I want to know is, how come he's allowed out and I'M NOT?? Mom hollers "Misty, go! You're not coming out." every time I go near the door.
MOM
We've been over this before, Mist. Dad and I think it's too dangerous for The Crew to be out there. Do I have to get the squirt bottle?
MISTY
Hmmppfff, fine!! I'll just watch from the window then!

you does not look happy Misty!! it's ok fough, you're much safer inside.
Misty, it's okay. I'm not allowed outside either. The Feeders say its dangerous!
Mum is the same with me and Virginger. She gets to go outside, I don't. Hmph.
We'd be hurmphring too. Hrrumph.
Great expression, Misty! But really it's better inside.
Mommy yells at Smoke the same way. He's always trying to go outside. He doesn't have as good of a "disapproving look" as you have though.
I know how you feel Misty. Everybody is right. Outside can be very dangerous...I was left outside to fend for myself before my mom found me and while it is fun to have adventures, it can be very very scary.
Ask your mom if she might consider a halter and leash (I have one of those) or a kitty stroller like Daisy the Curley cat.
Looking from the window is good, looking from the open window and smelling the breeze through the screen is even better.
I go out sometimes, but only with the leash and harness. I don't mind the harness at all.
Awww Misty, it's ok. Kitties are just better off on the inside where they are pampered and doted upon.
Midnight looks like a good helper for your mom.
Squillions are so helpful, aren't they? And so nice that yours helps your mom plant flowers.
All of us Ballicai are indoor-only cats, but my little brother MaoMao is a door-darter sometimes, too!
Purrs and snuggles from Marilyn.
It can be quite dangerous outside. Midnight is equipped to deal with this--he just sits in one spot. You, however, are a tasty little girl... Be safe Misty darling!
Misty, maybe you can get a harness and leash! Then you can go outside and still be safe. I am never allowed out without mine (or else in my stroller). It does look like the squillion is having lots of fun. And those little iris flowers are beautiful.
Misty, you look furry mad...but you are furry safe!
I feel the same way, because Meowmie won't let us out, although I always try to escape.

We aren't allowed outside either. Well except for Titus, but he's a dawg. I try to run outside but I get so excited I roll around on the patio and it makes it easy for Mom and Dad to pick me up. It just stinks.

Oh Missy, it is better for you inside. I know it can be hard. Maybe you can get a leash & harness sos you can walk?
Remember, Vishus Deer are out there and you need to be safe!
Those squillions get all the luck!
How did we miss this blog entry??
Hey Misty, we are not allowed out either. Mom screams when we get near the door too.... I feel your pain.
The window is our only solace.

Did your Squillion mancat come over and visit Virginger?
So sorry about the outside. Your mom doesn't want anything to happen to you. Where did you get your Squillion? He looks like he is having fun. The rock climb was fun. Thanks for the comment.
Be blessed,
Samantha and Tigger
Misty...you need to fight for your rights, dearie!!
Me and Donny and Casey, we cry up such a racket that sometimes...mommy will let us go out. Usually only when daddy is bbq'ing so he can keep an eye on us.
Those flowers are beautiful! :) Misty, I'm not allowed out alone either, because it's too dangerous. I can either go out on my harness in our yard or in my stroller.
Don't fret too much, Misty. We're not allowed outside, either. We have to do our chirping to the birds through the window.
Hiss...
