Just Doing My Job, Thanks

MAX

I come running at the sound of the can opener...what cat doesn't?! But I also check out any unusual sound anywhere in the house, so I think this cat did the right thing.

We Mancats have an important job to do, guarding our families. And we do it well!

Having no man cats in the house, I tend to do that, although Gemini is the bug hunter of the place...

I'm with Daisy...the treat jar is what gets me moving.

Ironic. The only thing I run for is the very thing that packs the junk in my trunk.

Wait...what's that? I hear shaking treats. I'm out of here!

I run when the microwave is on....I guess that's why I'm not a Man Cat.

I have come running at the sound of a champagne bottle getting uncorked. I am strange indeed!

I agree. We must check out any noise. Who knows what yummy stuff they may have that doesn't require the can opener? I recently discovered goldfish crackers. They don't require a can opener and they are most yummy.

Can openers, the sound of a lid coming off of any can by a pull tab, the treat can shaking. Anything that might mean food.

We cats are furry vigilant and always have one ear open, even when we are sound asleep. Don't try to pull a fast one on us!

I come running when I hear the treats being shaken, or when the top pops off my stinky goodness cans (no need for a can opener.)

It sounds like you do a great job as a guardcat, Max. :)

I wanted to leave a comment on your Tuesday post, but I couldn't :(

I think Tipper is very smart. My Mommie calls me "sweet baby" sometimes, and she likes to hold me like a baby too. I like it. I think I will be a baby forever, just like Baby Mao.

George: Whenever I ask the birds and lizards and alligators what their names are, they always say George! I think that is a good name. Maybe they are trying to be just like you.

Both me and Brainball check out weird sounds -- I'm a mancat and she'z the big Alpha cat of the house, so we make a good team!

My momma calls alla us Ballicai babies a lot, too -- and I'm her baby boy.

Kittyhugs and purrs from MaoMao!
