Sorry
GEORGE
I just want to quickly apologize to everyone for not getting around to visit you recently, and I'm hereby lodging an official complaint. I haven't even been able to get new members added to our Coats of Many Colors group, and I apologize to those who are waiting for their membership badges!!
The problem is certainly not OUR fault 'cause we'd be happy to visit you every day! The fault lies with my secretary, aka Mom, who's been so wrapped up in other things she "didn't have time today" to go online. What a poor excuse! I'm not buying it!
I mean really, how long does it take to click on everyone's page every day, read their post, look at their pictures and write a comment? It's not like we have squillions of friends. Well OK, we do have friends all over the world but still, it's not OUR fault we don't have high speed internet at home and Mom can't figure out how to get Blogroll to work and sometimes she goes to bed early.
So, it takes a long time to check and see who has news posts. So, it takes a long time for pages to load. Should WE have to suffer because of that? Is it OUR fault she's busy at work some days and can't spend all day blogging and has to deal with a dial-up connection there? No, no and no!
Something has to be done about this!! We have things we want to talk about and we HAVE to be able to visit our friends!

Mom's get busy sometimes. I know, because it happens to me, too. It usually takes me a week or more to get through my blogroll, and it keeps growing. And I have a high-speed connection. I understand your problem and sympathize.
I vote for high speed internet at home and at least 2 hours a night on line for blogs!
George, Tipper, Max and Misty:
My mom understands your mom. Some days life gets in the way, but we know you are still out there and when Mom gets time, you'll be back.

WE know exactly how you feel. Our mommie gets involved in too many useless activities and she has... seriously... ADD. So, we never get enough time to visit!
hey, we would love to be in the "coats club too
Don't be too hard on your mommy. It isn't easy being a bean. I guess they have lots of responsibilities. (whispers: okay Mommy has left the room, geez what's with these beans. They say they are tired all the time but they alway seem to be napping when I want something!)
I feel your pain, George. My Tracy has been very busy lately too.
Man, do I get it. It's the same thing here, and we HAVE high-speed internet. Mom is in the sewing room working on quilts, in the kitchen cooking or eating or doing dishes, or doing all that other stuff beans think they have to do. I just don't get the time to comment the way I'd like to because she is always doing other stuff. Sheesh!
Hmmm... that is a problem. Perhaps you should suggest that your Mom block off a couple of hours every day to dedicate to the blogs. It's obviously more important than any kind of work she thinks she needs to do!
Do you think Ernest (and maybe me!) would qualify for the Coats of Many Colors group?
DSL. it's great. maybe your mom could get it?
We're totally with you!!!
However...my mommy is with your mommy. She understands how busy things can get for a mommy!
Oh, I hope you can get Blogroll to work, because it is faster that way.
High Speed Internet isn't even a question at our house- its a life line. It takes Meowmy sometimes all day at work to look at everyone's blogs and a couple more hours at night. Good luck!

I had my mom try Blogroll for a while but it never seemed to be quite accurate. Then I had her try a new add-on to Firefox that you don't even have to put on your blog but that wasn't very good either. So I make her check every day but sometimes she lets me look only about a half a second!
I think if our moms just left the computers on all day we'd have no problem at all!
*sigh* effun wif hi speed it takes all day. And mom can't figger out blogroll eether. She's not furry puter literate. She can't effun get our home network set up. Oh she gots da laptop to connect to da innernet thru da pc but can't look at any files or nuffing on da pc and dat reely sucks cuz der are lots of our nice pikshers der.
Hi beyootiful Misty, wanna come over and watch my mom, she's pretty funny laying on da couch making weerd noyses and stuff.~Speedy
We haf got DSL but we're right on the limit furr connection. (They call it an amber line which means we have a 50/50 chance of getting it.) Some days it is great and others we lose connection about every 4 or 5 minutes which makes mum tear her hair out.Our mum wuzn't any good wiv blogroll either so some days we can't visit hardly anycat.
I know how you feel.My mom's always busy with babysitting.Humans sheesh!!!
I am sure it's not your Mom's fault she is so busy. Blogging can be a very time consuming pastime. FAZ
We started using Google Reader and it's pretty darn good.
Bloggin is soooo time consuming - we even tried starting a blog for compulsive bloggers but we don't have time for it because of our own blog...
IF you ever have time again - you are invited to a lizard BBQ at The Cat Realm!
The folks need to realize we are their #1 priority!
Real friends understand, Crew. Apparently, for most humans, life is more than catblogging.
What's up with that?!
My humans act the same way. Sigh. I can't believe it.
