The Twin Challenge

Today I want to talk about noses. Not just any old noses, but cat noses in particular and I'm issuing a new CHALLENGE to all cat bloggers.
I always thought my nose was very unique. It's got a dark nosepad outlined in gray with a gray triangle of fur. Mom calls that my "smudge" and when I was a baby my smudge was very pale and she thought I had dirt on the top of my nose and kept trying to wash it off! But it wasn't dirt, it was my gray marking that got darker as I got older. See?
Here's my baby nose and my nose now.
Then I found my friend Bow at Forty Paws who has a triangular nose smudge similar to mine, although his is bigger than mine and extends up to between his eyes. I call us "nose twins".Max has several tuxie nose twins who have black painted noses on white fur, his girlfriend Harlie being his favorite. No big surprise there, right?!
Tipper has the only pink nosepad in our family. Her nose has white fur and, although I love my sister a lot, I have to say her nose isn't all that special.
TIPPER
I heard that and I'm telling Mom what you said!

(sighs and rolls eyes) Sorry Tipp, but it's true.
Now, Misty's nose is very unusual. She has a gray nosepad with split gray & white fur and hasn't found a nose twin yet. We know her boyfriend Speedy has a nose twin, but we won't tell who it is!
So friends, I'm issuing a CHALLENGE to all cat bloggers! See how many cats you can find who are your nose twin and post about it. That means visiting lots of blogs (which is a good thing 'cause some cats need more visitors), to check out all the noses!
So that all cats can do the challenge and since some of us who are all white or all black or tabby won't have a nose twin, I'll allow a "face twin" posting. After you've posted about your "nose" or "face" twin, you can put this badge on your sidebar.

Well, that's better! I have two face twins. Jesse of Cyclone Cats (waves madly, Hi Jesse!) and Knightly of The Monsters (who sadly, isn't blogging any more). We all look very much alike.

How fun. We already know Missy Blue Eye's nose twin is Casper, now we must find KC's nose twin.

What a great challenge! I might be able to do this, since my nose actually has fur on it! The rest of my face doesn't, but my nose does, so maybe I'll be able to find another cat with a black moustache similar to mine. :)
What a great idea! Sadly we won't be around to participate. Hmm...I'd say all seal point meezers have the same nose as me and Kaze an Chase actually have very similar noses. We'll have to check around!

how fun! our noses are all black, and our faces are all black, but we could get a picture of Cocoa sitting up that looks just like a picture of Turtle in the same pose. how 'bout that?
We know who Speedy's nose twin is! We once asked them to gif us pictors to study. This won't be hard fur me cuz of Beau Beau, my twin bro. I bet Bonnie's got nose twins, too, like maybe Chase.
Woohoo, if we find a twin we don't alreddy know bout we can make new fends! Grate challenge George.
Oh, I love a challenge and this one sounds like a good one - I shall look around for my nose twin this weekend.

This is an easy challenge for me. I already have a twin, his name is Puff. His blog is called Puff has Spoken. We look almost exactly alike. It might be a little more difficult finding someone who looks just like Clyde. He is an orange kitty, but an interesting orange kitty. We both have pink noses, too!

I posted my nose twin. And guess who it is? Zippy!
We don't have distinctive noses so maybe we have to go with face twins. I think that Jake might have a face twin with one of the kitties from Forty Paws, but I think that my face is unique. We don't know if we'll have time to participate before our secretary goes on vacation.

Tipper...I have a white nose like yours. If I'm furry active it turns dark pink. My grey isn't as dark and I have peachy stripes between my eyes.

Oh dear....this is a vewy chawwenging chawwenge! I've gotted a nose which is half pink and half half bwack. I hadn't seen any nose twins so far, but I'll keep wooking!

Oh my word, we have so many kitty cats, ummmm, we will definately TRY and find twins but this is certainly a blast to see all the kitty cats finding their nose matches! ehehehe
