Tuxie Tuesday

MAX

Mom, where are you?! Don't you know today is Tuxie Tuesday!

How am I supposed to maintain my tuxie handsomeness without nourishment? I'm practically STARVING!! I'm so weak I can barely stand in front of our bowl, and look...just 4 bites left.

Food...food. I need food!

MOM

Oh for heaven's sake Max, you're in no danger of starvation! Why, just the other day you were complaining about looking wide.

MAX

That was then. This is NOW...and I need FOOD!

Wow, your feeder holds lots of crunchies! I just get a tiny scoop in the morning and a tiny scoop in the evening. I hope you get a refill soon!

You should try bringing your momma presents. It works! I tried it this past Saturday when she wouldn't get up, I brought her on of my toy in bed and she thought it was cute and she got up and gave us food! Can't believe she fell for it!

Oh dear, I don't like seeing my food bowl that empty - it makes me very nervous. I think you should start howling uncontrollably until you get a scoop of food!

I wouldn't tolerate an empty dish...when our water dish was getting low...Ernie would push it around the room and flip it over and over, making a lot of noise... untill we got our humans attention! That is how you do it!
Maybe you should try this with you food dish...

Max you almost starved! That is not good. Our Mommy has done that to us a time or two (though we do not have your really cool crunchy feeder) and we had to cry and cry and cry before she would feed us...well ok, she was at work earning money to buy our foods and she fed us the second she got home but still! Waiting is no good!

That's a big crunchy food holder! Your mom needs to fill it right away...there's only like one crunchy left and you might starve to death!!

I hope you were adequately supplied with nourishment. You do need those essential ingredients for proper tuxie coat
maintenance.

Looking good Max

Good heavens, Max, you have quite a reproachful look in your eyes. Chastising humans doesn't do much good, I have to tell ya. Now what I do is snuggle up to my humans, give 'em the old soft soap, y'know? "Gee, Mama, you look so pretty today! Have you lost some more weight? Oh, and speaking of food..." See what I mean?
