A Relaxing Color

TIPPER

You know Mom's been busy re-decorating the house, so Misty and I decided to help her pick a color for the guestroom. So, let's see here...what are our choices? What do you like, Mist?

MISTY

Well, pink would be my first choice, but probably Mom would want something to match the bedspread. And I think we should get something nice & relaxing. You know, nothing too bright that would interfere with our naps.

TIPPER

Right.

Mom, which one do you think looks good with the curtains?

MOM

Sandstone Cove.

TIPPER

Sandstone Cove it is! Now, when can we help with painting?!

Well, if you cannot go with pink, I think Sandstone Cove is the next best choice.

That is a good choice. You cats are very talented - interior decorators and painters, too. I wish my cats would help with painting.

Sandstone Cove sounds very nice. The last time I helped my Mum paint I was fired, just because I got some paint on my paws and made a track that got lighter and lighter as I walked away - there was alot of hoopla about nothing!

That is thoughtful of your human to not pick something too bright. Mine is always doing that...

That look & sounds like a pretty color! Just don't get too much of it on yourselves while you are busy snoopervising!

Please be sure to get lots of fur in the paint - that makes the humans really happy.

Sandstone...is that like sand in a litter box? That could come in handy in case of "accidents."
Just kidding! We can't wait to see how well you all help!

Oh my Bast! That's the exact same color we picked for our mom when she was doing the kitchen! It was one of those rare choices that actually worked with the other colors there and she didn't have to keep repainting (like the living room accent wall), and probably because she let us have input!

Wow! Your house decorating looks like loads of fun! I would love to help! I am the worlds best helping cat, or at least that is what my mommy says. (Grins) Oh Tipper? I think you have the prettiest colors of furs. Of course, since you are my twin (wink wink) I guess it just makes purrfect sense.

There was a pink room when we moved into our house... it wasn't a pleasing pink at all and the beans repainted it. That's the ONLY room they've painted together, and they didn't let me help at all. I'd have done a better job, you know.

Misty, tomorrow is my gotcha day cuz it's the boy's birthday. My real purrthday was in February. That WOMAN got it wrong and I haven't been able to correct the calendar. Happy early purrthday to you, young lady!

Nice work! Painting can be fun! I posted about that in one of my earliest posts. But we had some special "magic" paint. I didn't have to do a thing!

We saw a TV show about "sponge-painting. What about "catpaw painting"?

Latex, of course, so it washes right off...

Ayla suggested nose-prints. but we reminded her her nosie would hafta get washed. She decided against it...
