Overheard Between Sisters
TIPPER
You know that most evenings Dad and I talk for a while. I sit on the arm of the couch and he pets me and I purr and my tail quivers with joy.
Last night he was being all lovey, telling me I'm a Sweetie Pie and a Cutie Pie. Then Mom said, "Don't forget, Misty's a Pie, too". Then, did you hear Dad say I was the "big" Pie and you were the "little" Pie?
MISTY
No, I didn't hear that.
TIPPER
Well, I was just shocked, Mist!! I couldn't believe my ears! Was that a thinly veiled insinuation about my weight? Is he trying to tell me I'm getting FAT?!!!
MISTY
Um...(ahem)...well... uh, I think maybe Dad meant "big" 'cause you're the older sister, not "big" 'cause your butt is bigger than mine...although it's not really that much bigger!!
TIPPER
Hmmm... are you sure he wasn't referring to my flabby belly?
MISTY
Oh no... no no! You know how guys are, Tipp. They don't understand that we girls are very sensitive about these things.
Look how Max is always going on about being the Bigger Brother and George talks about being the Senior Cat. Well, you're the bigger...uh, I mean the older Pie, and I'm happy I'm younger Pie.

Hahahahahaha - poor Emil has to take a lot of BIG words from the staff too!!! Thank you guys sooooo much for coming to our bachelor party, you were GREAT guests! And we are looking forward to seeing you on board the Voyager for the wedding soon!

How could it be about your weight? You are the perfect size Tipper!
We think Misty has it right. After all, I'm the "big" brother, even though Merlin weighs more than me, but I'm older! - Dragonheart
Pie? Me love pie! As long as its meat or cream. hehehehehe ~Empess
Uh I woulds just ask the dad whats he meant. It's would be easier thats way.

That was us with the deleted comment. Mom and Blogger aren't getting along today.
I'm sure your dad didn't mean that you were poofy or anything.

No way was your bean referring to your weight! You are one slim and quite fit looking young lady cat!
We're sure that your dad just meant "slightly older, but still young and svelt Pie"!
Uh Oh, I thinks your Dad put his foot in his mouth! My Grandpa calls me chubby and I don't care for that either - men just don't understand. I am sure that your Dad meant to say older pie, just as my Grandpa meant to say cherubic.
Tipper, personally I think big pies are better than little pies ;-) I do not believe your Daddy was referring to your weight at all. Don't be thinking that!
I don't think he meant that you are 'big'. My mum calls her older sisters her 'big' sisters too.

Better just leave that one alone...

Hello to the Pie sisfurs!
Hi Tipper, my twin!
Your sister is right...boys are kinda clods about girls sometimes.
Beans...whatcha gonna do with them?
Jesse
Oh, no way could he have been talking about your weight!
You two are cute! :)
Hey, we couldn't tell any difference in size between you and Misty... Nah, beans sometimes just like to ruffle our furs in their weird way!
Purrs,
Hi guys, thank you for visiting my bloggy page. I fink you all look lufferly and no one is even a teensy weensy bit fat. Sometimes my miewmie says I am getting a bit porky then she weduces my wations. At the moment, I am luffly an slim.
Hi Tipper,
I sometimes get my feelings hurt and even my brother does too. People need to be careful about inuendos. You look every pretty.
There is NO BLOOMIN' WAY your dad would say anything so patently untrue, ladies...especially when so much whappage lay so close at hand!
