Where's the Blue Shorts Guy?

While Reyna & Shasta were visiting recently, Mom decided to buy them some new dog toys...chew bones, squeakies...that kind of stuff. No 'nip filled toys though. Those are reserved for us.

Anyway, Mom got this cool little squeaky truck shape with a big knotted rope on it and here you can see Reyna as she immediately tore the stuffing out. That new toy didn't last 10 minutes.







Now friends, I think you'll agree that this is a perfect example of why we felines know that cats are superior to dogs. Again, nothing against all you dogs out there. You can't help it you weren't born cats and you are to be pitied, since you can't help it that it's your nature to destroy things. But a cat wouldn't totally tear apart a new toy! We know how to play with toys properly, the way they're intended to be played with! Toss them in the air, bat them across the kitchen floor then pounce them, grab them in your teeth and bunny kick or, if they're filled with 'nip...well, you have to savor the aroma, then roll around.





As I watched this complete annihilation I couldn't help but think, I hope the little guy in the blue shorts escaped with his life!
