While My Hair Dried

MAX

Mom, why is there hair in the sink?

MOM

I'm giving myself a trim. Get out of the way, OK? I don't want to drop hair on you.

MAX

You're not going to trim me, are you?

MOM

No dear, you're fine just the way you are. I'm the one who needs help.

MAX

I came in here to get my drink, you know.

MOM

Can't you use the other sink to get your drink?

MAX

No, I always use this one. It's my favorite.

MOM

But Max, there's hair all over in this sink. I'd have to wipe it out before I turn on the water.

MAX

But Mom...I really, really need my drink!

MOM

Oh, alright. Just a second. (gets paper towel, wipes hair from sink & turns on water)

There, now get your drink.

MAX

(waits)

MOM

What are you waiting for? Get your drink!

MAX

It's not cold enough yet.

MOM

Max, I'd like to finish trimming my hair before it dries. Would you please hurry up!

MAX

Uh, I guess I'm not thirsty any more now.

I think the cats need their own powder room, with no toliet paper in it, as they always shred it. I have the same problem with cats in the sinke etc...but it's cute and I guess I encourage it cuz I let the faucet drip for them...

I can't believe that your mom had the nerve to trim her hair at your favorite sink. I hope she learned her lesson.

Heh heh Max, you are the mancat!

Misty left a message about my robins being "back". Could you tell her that British robins don't migrate, they are here all the time all through the winter (that's why lots of Christmas cards have robins on them!)

My mom is laughing so hard she can hardly write for me. You see, she just did that today (trimming the hair) at my favorite drinking sink. She thought she was the only one who had a pushy pussy cat.
