We've Been Invaded

Friends, I'm frazzled, crabillated and worn out from meowing. What's wrong, you ask?
The DAWGS are visiting, that's what's wrong! Yes, Shasta & Reyna are here for a week - A WHOLE WEEK - while our human Sister B, husband T and their Blurpy Girl are on vacation. I'll tell you, it's all I can do to keep body and soul together what with all the chasing, the running, the barking and the jumping. The crates are here, gates are up, doors are closed, our food is up on the table and my serene household is topsy turvy.
I haven't been able to be on Mom's lap for 4 days now and I'm having withdrawal symptoms. There's no fluffy robe, no blanket over me while I nap in the evening. What is this world coming to when a Senior Cat can't even be comfortable in his own house and be where he wants to be!
Mom tries to placate me and says "It's only a few more days", but is SHE the one who's home with them all day? Is SHE listening to the barking & whining? No! SHE leaves for work and WE'RE the ones who are home all day. Fortunately, they're in their crates, so The Crew can venture out to eat, drink and use the litterbox without fear of being assaulted.
I'm going in the bedroom now to meditate. Everyone follow me and repeat

Oh man George, dat sounds horrible. Yoo can all come here if it gets to be too much (Speedy sez-speshully Misty) and we can lay around on da big bed and talk trash about woofies *hehehe*.
Oh noes. I worry about that happening here, that the Younger Human will bring his dog and leave him for days and days. The HORROR!

Poor Crew kitties, at least they are in crates during the day. We hope your parents make it up to you very nicely.
Mommy sez what doesn't kill you....makes you stronger..So, don't let them near you and when they leave you will be stronger...hopefully...if all else fails, find a very good hiding spot=^Y^=Toy
