Sniffing the Spring

MAX

It's SPRING and Mom opened the windows so we could sniff some spring air.

MISTY

No, it's not officially spring on the calendar 'til tomorrow. Mom says it's officially spring when she sees the first robin so I'm going to watch for it and tell her when I see it. That's what she waits for every year.

Lots of robins here, and have been for a while, but mostly it's too cool to leave the windows or doors open for long. Soon, though!

We hope you have a lovely weekend with lots of window whiffies!!

Happy almost-officially Spring!

The Robin is not a good indicator of Spring here. We see them all winter! The Iris blooming is the first sign of Spring. Enjoy the fresh air!

We hope you see your first Robin soon. That was how our Mom knew it was Spring back when she lived in Indiana. Happy Friday!

When we see Photoguy sitting in the garden, reading a book, we know it's spring.

We thought Spring had come because it has been nice and sunny, but it has poured down for the last two days. We have robins all year around. We know it is Spring when the swallows start to arrive.

Open windows here too, at least when mum is home. Our first robin showed up the middle of last week. Did they skip your house?

Happy Spring.

oooo I'm so glad you got to enjoy open windows too! We have robins here. I'll tell them to come your way.
Suggest to your mommy she boil some raisens and put them out in the grass. The boiling water softens the skin and robins love them! Enjoy your birdwatching Misty.

Oh! Open windows! Open windows are great! But it's a good thing Mommy doesn't think the first robin is the sign of spring being here! We'd never have spring at all!
