Gino Grooms Himself

GINO

Hi everybody, it's me, Gino! Gramma said I could talk again today.

My sisters Cricket, Tiger and I have been here over a month now and Gramma lets me be out of our room more often. I like that 'cause I'm young guy with plenty of energy and I need room to run!

I met George, too. Gramma has been, what she calls, "socializing" us. At first Gramma held George and he meowed real loud at me and I thought maybe he didn't like me. Then the next time we met, she let me walk on the floor near George and we just watched each other. The time after that, we went nose to nose, but we were both polite with no hissing or growling. Gramma seems real happy about that.

Gramma says some time I can meet the other cats that live here, but we have to take it slow 'cause she doesn't want anybody to get hurt.

I feel comfortable enough now to relax and do my grooming and I think I'm going to like it here!

Hi Gino! We are glad you are getting to explore more and become more comfortable, and it is great you got to meet one of the other kitties. We think your gramma is super smart to take it slow with the meetings - that is the best way to do it.

We hope you all have a good weekend!

Hi Gino! Your Gramma is pretty smart letting all you cats get to know each other slowly. Sounds like you and George are on the road to becoming furiends!

No hissing, growling or flying fur allowed. You don't want to scare your granny. She must be so pleased at how well you and George did when you met.
