Looking Innocent

GINO

Hi everyone, it's me, Gino.

Remember when I talked about our screen door? Well now Gramma is all mad that (cough) "someone" tore the screen part and we can get downstairs and that big dog can get in by us. She tried taping it with something called ducky tape, but "someone" wrecked that too.

So, who do you think did such a terrible thing, Grampa, and after all of Gramma's hard work, too? I'm pretty sure it must have been that dog who's always barking at me. You know, the one I don't like! All I know is, it wasn't ME! You know I'm completely innocent and I had nothing to do with it, right?

Uh, what's that, Grampa? When you took the torn tape off there was claw marks on it? Hmmm, I don't remember leaving claw marks. Um...I mean, I didn't see any claw marks! Bite marks, too? No, I didn't see any of those either. You must need new glasses, Grampa. Hahahahaha!

Hey, what are you doing?! I tore that screen so I could go downstairs whenever I want to!! Uh, no wait a minute, did I say that out loud? What I meant to say is, nice job, Grampa. Now that dog can't get up here and bother us.

We used to have a baby gate to keep the woofers from us, but now we have a french door with glass in it and e'rything. Petey pounds on it when he wants to visit the woofers. We're not allowed in that part of the house cause we jump up on the table and the counters. Humom says we can go out there when we get older and stop bein' all jumpily.

Hi Gino! We think you are totally innocent - we know you wouldn't wreck the screen! Mom has considered using a screen for Lola's room but still hasn't done it, because she knows it will get wrecked at our house too. That new screen looks like it will be a lot harder for whoever wrecked the last one to wreck!

We're not sayin annything about who is ta blame. But that work by Grampa reminds us of when TBT hadda screen in the space unner the basement stairs cuz "one of us" was poopin in there... An since one side had the workbench and stored tools an the other had only a 2'x2' crawlspace entry, it was really hard fer him to clean up in there.

Gino, how tall is it? Can you jump it or climb it to the top and then jump down the other side?

Good luck!
