Looking for Gino

Well, I think we've done everything we can to help Gino get back home. We hung flyers at some local stores and gave them out to the neighbors on our street and the streets across and behind us. We did a posting on Milwaukee craigslist-lost & found. We notified the local animal shelter. We have food and water out on the deck next to a cat carrier with my son's pillowcase in it. We sprinkled used litter from the upstairs box around the yard hoping he'll pick up the scent.

Gino was originally found on the streets of Chicago about 3 years ago when my son was living there. He was taken to a vet who found that he was microchipped, but they were unable to contact his owners, so my son kept him.

Tonight my son will go out again, searching yards on our street and in yards that back up to our street.

TCB has great power so please continue to purr for our boy to come home.

Could Gino have gotten stuck somewhere...in a neighbor's garage or shed or some other place?? Our neighbor's cat got out and went missing for almost a week! She was trapped in a neighbor's garage who had gone away for a few days.

We're purring that Gino comes home soon!!

We are purring hard for Gino's safe return. We agree with the Island Cats...sometimes us kitties get stuck in sheds, greenhouses, garages, etc.

One time our cat Roger Ramjet got stuck in a neighbors garage for 3 days! The neighbor was elderly and didn't drive often so if we had not gone door to door and asked to look in the garage we might never have found him.

Hi! So sorry to hear that your sweet little Gino is missing. I've heard about cats hiding into cars and jumping out miles away, sometimes even in an other state, so I would definitely look for him throughout the whole country.

Most people bring a cat immediately to a shelter or the vet once they've been found, so try contacting as many of them as possible (not just the local ones).

Maybe try contacting a few radio stations and newspapers too. Maybe they're nice enough to mention your missing cat.

Finding a lost cost is a lot of work, but I think it's worth it. Gino hasn't just vanished from the planet. He is still out there somewhere and the more you do, the more chance you have to find him. Good luck.

I truly hope Gino finds his way back home. I know the absolute agony of having a lost baby. My Siamese-mix got out once and it was terrifying for me. She thankfully found her way back home several hours later, but it was pretty scary while she was gone.

Purrs and prayers coming Gino's way!
