Our New Food

MAX

Today I want to talk about food. I love food and will eat anything Mom puts out. We free feed from dry kibbles and hardly ever get stinky goodness around here. I mean really, it's been ages, Mom. A shared bowl of tuna water now and then just isn't enough for a guy like me! Don't you think I, um...I mean, we would like a bowl of moist food?

MOM

You're big enough already. You don't need more food.

MAX

(sigh) Well, it was worth a try.

Anyway, we used to eat Iam's kibbles, but Mom thought it was making us throw up too much so we switched to Science Diet and have been eating that for a long time. Then one day when Mom & Dad were at PetSmart, some guy came up to them while they were in the cat food aisle ready to put our usual food in the cart, and gave them a sales pitch about this Nutro Max Cat stuff.

He said it would improve our furs, reduce hairballs and help with my bombs in the litterbox.

MOM

Before this, when Max dropped a bomb, he could clear a crowded room. Even strong men would gag as they ran for the nearest exit!

MAX

Mom, I'm talking about food. Why do you feel the need to tell the world about my litterbox problems?!

Anyway, Mom politely listened to the sales pitch and thought, "Yeah, right", but since Nutro was about the same price as Science Diet, she agreed to try it.

Well friends, I'm here to tell you, it worked! There are not nearly as many hairballs and vomit piles around as there used to be and my stink bombs...well, they're not so stinky any more. And...if that wasn't enough to make Mom happy, do you know the best thing of all? Mom found a $5.00 off coupon on line and now she's really happy!

Note to readers: I was not compensated in any way for this endorsement. I simply wanted to share information about a product that helped in our multi-cat household.

We use Science Diet for sensitive stomachs but Spunky Doodle still vomits a lot. I wonder if maybe we should try MaxCat.

I used to feed Sweet Praline the Nutro canned food. She ate Royal Canin and Iams dry food. I think the future furchilren are eating Royal Canin for Kittens right now.

I'm back blogging. I have a new blog set up for the future furchildren that will come to live with me in September. The name of the blog is Sweet Purrfections. Please feel free to come by and visit at http://sweetpurrfections.blogspot.com.

Max, we're so glad you found a food you like and doesn't make you have stink bombs. We eat grain free and Ernie eats venison and peas because of his allergies.
